Thirty million years is a long time to spend stuck in place... it could drive a person insane... it doesn't help when that person was always mad because of what happened to them. It also doesn't help when they're not even human and are a monster.
Over the many years of its reign the monster had saved the planet dozens of times, from a hundred different monsters. But each time it had fought on against the others and killed them all... the only thing that dared to challenge it were the insects called humans. Even with their machines of mass destruction they couldn't kill it, so instead they locked it away in ice.
But now, its been over a million years since the humans had all died and they had left it in its icy prison, its anger kindling... waiting for its release. And it didn't care what laid outside its prison all it cared about was....
Revenge.

To be honest, although only a little different i didn't get the same Godzilla-like felling reading this through, it's to soft a start for destructive theme story. A bit of back story/lead up is good but an unknown start is a better beginning for a story about Godzilla (something to do with the unknown giving us a more open mind to the actions that come after.....I think). Maybe flashbacks or Luna invading his dreams can give a softer area but not at the start!

4312470 I can see your point, but the reason I did this is because, the Godzilla fics with Godzilla in the name have more thumbs up and the things that come with. Why the Gojira fic has quite a bit views and likes since it has Godzilla's regular name, the reason I did this is because some people might like Godzilla but not enough to know he's referred to as the King of Monsters.
