I know what you mean, I tried writing this is with normal ponies, but couldn't get pat the first paragraph.
I just find the use of anthro's easier to write about without having writers block. Not to mention clothes add a touch to the story.

I like this rendition of Angle, he's actually living up to his name a bit.
I'm still a little confused as to what he's trying to hide? The town knows he's a stallion, at least as best as I can tell, I mean he make no effort to hide that. If he's hiding the fact that he's a prostitute, I don't get that either. I mean why would a mare in heat care if he is a prostitute or not surely they'd persue him anyway? Also, what would the problem with that be? Does he not desire sex? Or is he afraid that it'd be too much for him? I get that he started in prostitution out of desperation but it seems like he could get by without doing that anymore, so why does he continue? Especially if he doesn't want sex, I'm very confused. I also don't know why he doesn't report Granny to the police or something.

It's not the fact that his a prostitute that mares would want him, it's more on the lines that he can put out compared to most stallions. I would simply say that would make him a target in a female dominate world.
Also, why he doesn't quit that line of work comes along the lines of money. Why give up on a high paying job and don't forget all the animals he has to feed. In the long run that would make a hugged difference.
Granny Smith's actions perceives along the lines of preserving her blood line. With the whole mares outnumbering stallions, her actions would be mild compared to others.

Sorry for the lack of Applejack, trying to stick with canon and writing a scene with the two, is kinda hard without having to skip a some events.
You know I really like how different you portray Butterscotch from his usual personality and from Fluttershy. Its hard to believe for me that he is secretly a confident, badass fighter that also serves as the town's best bachelor. Except that he is so awesome that I dont really care. I do, however, wonder if there are parts missing from the chapter because it doesnt show how Scotch ended up sleeping with Gilda or if the next chapter would be a new episode. Either way, this is a great story and I cant wait for the next chapter.

Great chapter, like always. Im glad that more of Butterscotch's motivations for keeping the façade have been revealed. BTW, what did Butterscotch want Gilda to keep a secret? I mean have they already slept together. I know I shouldn't focus on this type of things, its just that last chapter ended with Gilda going to bed. Anyway, good chapter.

As for this chapter, how is this a time skip? The end of the last chapter has Gilda in a separate bed. This beginning has Butterscotch asking her not to mention what happened last night, then proceeds to get her stuff from Rainbow Dash's place and the story continues. This is very confusing to me.
3985283 From what was said in the last chapter, the mare/stallion ratio problem is unique to Ponyville. Even so, the Ponyville authorities may turn a blind eye to it yes. In that case, if I were a stallion I'd get the hell out of there. Seriously, with a attitude like that it's amazing that Ponyville has any stallions left at all.
