This was good. Loved it. Splendid!

This is good stuff. The only issues I could take are the need for a bit of proof reading in places, and possibly a second opinion on Luna's Olde Equestrian. I'm a sucker for it but some parts seemed forced or out of place. For example, "thy" is synonymous with "your", making it a bit hard to follow when she refers to "thy guard"--"your guard" essentially, when she'd likely mean "our guard", using the royal We. From a story standpoint, though, I loved it, also being a sucker for somepony drawing Luna out of her defenses to enjoy life and love.

Eventually princess Celestia? YES

Only at the pretend part and I can already say this is bucking win. Luna's sadness felt bad man.

This is a very well done story, my only complaints are a couple of grammar errors and overused words/phrases that you tend to utilize, ie. spunk, deepest barrier, etc. You also misused some of the Old English words that Luna speaks, like when you put 'is' instead of 'art', and putting 'thou' and 'thy' in the wrong places.

Otherwise, this was a pleasure to read. Please don't stop writing.
