This reminds me of a Gahan Wilson cartoon where a hospital patient sees a doctor with fungus for a head and the nurse turning into a monster horse.
The doctor says, "There may be some side effects to those pills you took."
I'm paraphrasing as it's been years since I've seen that comic.
This reminds me of the time I had some wisdom teeth taken out. Laughing gas was administered and soon I went on the weirdest drug trip of my life.
Everybody sounded like cartoon mice for what seemed like hours.
