Don't see many fics with comet tail so nice to find one. Also I like that this has a prince blueblood/twilight pairing cause its one of my favorite pairings with him. From my avatar you can tell hes my fav character and I just wanna say that I like authors like you who point out that rarity's intentions were shallow even if she didn't mean to be. Not saying he was good for being that way but neither was she. I know the show only had 22mins to fill but if rarity said something to show she knew him a little to wanna meet him I would of felt a bit bad for her.
Like saying "Oh the papers always rave on his charity,love for long walks in the park,favorite color is(insert color here) and so on,so on" then I could see her wanting to know the guy above just knowing hes royal,loaded,and single.

I've yet to see Elusive's ruinous date with Bluebelle explained in detail as well. Blueblood's main fault was that he expected Rarity to treat him like a prince(ss), but what about the reverse gender version?

In my headcannon, Blueblood's behavior was due to his understanding that all Rarity cared for was the prestige of being courted by royalty. If I were to do a flashback of the R63 GGG in my headcannon, it would be that Elusive saw somepony who could further his career by being his model. He probably would have been overly courteous, in a manner that would have annoyed the independent thinking Princess Bluebelle. But that's just my headcannon.
