Upon eavesdropping on a conversation between Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, Spike discovers what his "true love" really thinks of him, and after reminiscing on his thoughts about it, he slowly begins to drift away from his friends. With sorrow and despair in his heart, Spike runs away from home, and runs into an old enemy that tries to help him out.
However, after realizing what she has done, Rarity begins to realize and discover that she has feelings for Spike after all, but can she save him before it's too late?

Really intrigued by the synopsis, really wish I could've seen more of where it was going.

I make a habit of avoiding the Tragedy tag but there is something about this fic. Maybe its the potential that I see it could have and that there is a possibility for a happy ending after they fight through the tragedy. I shall track it and wait for updates.

Sounds interesting, will read. Though you probably shouldn't announce that Rarity develops feeling in the description, cuz you can put in a lot of build-up for that in the text.

Tracked... though I hope future chapters of this are a little longer. This is a REALLY short chapter! but... hm. It's fairly well written, and you're definitely setting up the oncomin tragedy well so far. Let us see what shall be!
