I really REALLY hate the idea of Corona's insanity being cured by Discord and the idea of him fooling the L6. It'll probably be the point I stop reading the Lunaverse
The mix of minions was fun, although I think you should have waited and put the song into the story although the tone is rather different to the rest of it.
Did you have a nemesis for each of the mane 6 in mind?
Galeb seem to have links with Trixie, Terry with Raindrops, Kindling with Lyra not sure about the rest.
However, I don't think Corona would ever purposely free Discord, if he did get free it would be due to a mistake when she tries to get custody of his statue fearing that Luna's going to free him.

Take solace in the fact that this won't actually happen this way in canon; I was just basing things off of what's been briefly discussed, and interpreted loosely at that. And I hope that this isn't how things will actually go down, because then it'll be boring for me to read

It's not a 1:1 exactly because that many villains gets a bit...cumbersome. These were just the ones that I liked and had a solid enough idea of to try to write.
Kindle was originally supposed to be a foil to Raindrops (specifically his long-winded lies versus her blunt honesty), but he's also a performer like Lyra so that's a good comparison as well, and my story is going to have both Raindrops and Lyra as the protagonists so works both ways.
Terry is a decent foil for Raindrops as well, both very strong, powerful fliers; I didn't show it in this story because Terry is with Corona so he's being a good little soldier (while his mirror pond voodoo clones wreck the city), but when he's fighting on his own he's more of a ranting berzerker who gives into his anger, unlike Raindrops who is afraid of hers.
I like Galeb, but the con to using him is too much possible overlap with Zecora's skillset. I love his personality and his potential, especially in a Neigh Orleans story, but it's not one that I think I could write well. Hopefully this can give someone else some ideas of what to do with him, though, because a voodoo zebrony with a tophat is just awesomely cool in my opinion (also, top hats were made of beaver skin, so one on a pony is kinda creepy; or maybe the beaver just said something very, very rude to him, iono).
Also, Kindle is going to come with a unicorn hanger-on, Smoke, who used to be his special effects/costume designer (her twin sister was named Mirrors, btw). Not sure if she'd really count as a miniboss, but she lets Kindle put on a show while still being a pegasus. Plus this line-up doesn't have a unicorn otherwise; not sure what we're doing (if anything) with Sunset Shimmer yet.
I...well to be frank I loved this. I'm big on dark, bleak possible futures and this one is sure that. The minions were interesting, but the crowning jewel hands down was Discord. I know DoubleDash has stated any plans to use Discord have been scraped because of Keep Calm and Flutter On...which I'm still disappointed about
That being said, this small bit with Discord actually makes up for it.
I love how he's zany and just perfect Discord, but the end was an amazing twist!
The thing about chaos and what I feel most writers can miss is that it's unpredictable. This doesn't mean it has to be crazy and logic defying all the time, if it is it becomes in it's own way predictable. Sometimes the biggest, most damaging act of chaos can be something small, simply and completely unpredictable.

Having Discord give Celestia her sanity is the very essence and shinning definition of perfect chaos! Such a simple act that carries the weight of endless consequences and catastrophic, unpredictable results of said act.
