A long time ago, I created with abandon. I thought those times were behind me... It's time to pick up the pen once more...

This was very sweet. I really enjoyed it. Awesome!

Aww that was great! I like it

Very adorable. I d'awwed.

Oh, that's so sweet! Ditzy's determination to see the letter delivered was really heartwarming - of course, the laws of irony dictated that it was destined for her all along - and the way Pokey waited at Sugarcube Corner all day and much of the night was really lovely.

Adorable.

It was rather obvious that the letter was for Ditzy and I suspected that it was from Pokey the instant we saw him which became more obvious over time. This didn't hurt the story though. As the others said, it was very sweet.

I'd also like to add, it's nice to see something nice happening to Ditzy.
No one should be alone all the time.

The ending was rather obvious when we hit the Trixie part, but it didn't detract from the story at all.

So sweet.

The flower settled the matter in her mind and she stood up straight with purpose. Lilacs were her favorite flower and she felt an empathic connection with this mystery mare.

Well, I already suspected she was the intended recipient for some reason, but this seems the first real piece of evidence.

He stopped tracing his hoof idly in circles on the tabletop and perked up as she approached, standing up from his stool. “Miss Doo! It’s a pleasure to see you!”
“Hello Pokey.” She said, slipping past him and heading up the front steps of the bakery. “I’m sorry, but I can’t talk now. I’m still on the job.”

And that answers the half of the mystery I had no clues for.

Short, sweet, silly. Thanks for the tale.
