Zim, the self-proclaimed Invader, is told to take a secret mission for his 'Impending Doom 2' duties. Instead of finding earth, he found Equestria and decides to take over the planet.
Just like my Parappa crossover story, the first chapter is the set-up. I basically retell how Zim plans to blend into the society (I throw in a few things to make it mildly interesting). After that chapter, I go my own way with him (avoiding any retelling stories of the canon show).
This story will always be incomplete, I'll go back to this story whenever I feel like I can make another short story for Zim to go through. I don't have an ending idea, and I always like to keep a chance open for more stories (on short episode stories).

Haha! Invader Zim! This is one of my favorite cartoons of all time! The show is also an inspiration for me in science and animation cinematography! I've always thought about makin' my own fan animated movie on it!

No stories from the original can be remade in this, other than the pilot. Most of the stories in the series were pulled along due to the messed up and stupid version of Earth Zim landed in. I hope this story can compensate Zim's stupidity and incompetence with the world of Equestria which is completely run by ...eh, semi-competent(?), or at least not-stupid ponies and their Princesses.

I don't think so. If they found out that he was an alien, then word would most likely spread through out Equestria and everypony would be on him (studying him, wanting to know why he's here, ect.). This would give Zim little to no time planning out a way of taking over Equestria.
Although as I wrote earlier within the second chapter, Pinkie saw Zim without his disguise on. She's smart at times and I think she can put two and two together, but knowing her, I think it wouldn't make a big deal to her if he was an alien. And she's also one that speaks her mind a lot and loves to act silly, which makes it difficult to take her seriously if she did tell somepony that Zim is an alien.

I really don't think there will be anytime soon. I've thought of some ideas (Zim and Trixie having a who's greater competition, a 'Mysterious Mysteries'-like chapter, Zim's house getting a virus), but ultimately had to abandon due to the lack of expanding upon those ideas and unable of finding a way of ending them.

It's not that hard to get them. You just gotta keep in mind that Zim is an egocentric stubborn idjit that lacks a few words to his dictionary and makes up for it by stating the next closest word, and as for Gir....... he's just plain suicidal.
It may seem like this story will never be updated, but then again, I though the same thing everytime before making the last four chapters. Perhaps one day I might return to this when something clicks in my head.
