Twilight isn't having a very good day. An experimental spell blew up in her face, an army of changelings is attacking Canterlot, and she just died. Yet somehow, it looks like it's going to keep going downhill from here.

Given the chance to correct what's gone wrong, Twilight swears she's going to fix all this even if it kills her. Which it will. Frequently.

Chrysalis is left broken and defeated at the edge of Equestria after her failed plan. Seeking revenge, she releases Discord from his stone prison. But after the Draconequus begins to grow on her, will more then revenge come from their partnership?

What is it like not knowing who you are? To be different from everyone?

When a foal is accidentally sent flying with the changelings, it is up to Chrysalis to care and raise the lost filly, though keeping her from learning about her own kind would prove more difficult than it seems. After living her whole life with changelings, this little filly's life is turned upside down when she takes her first steps outside the hive. Old tensions are revealed, and this little filly is going to learn that changelings don't have it easy. But what can filly like her do? All the answers wait for her in Equestria, where she will meet new faces and see new places.

When Queen Chrysalis was defeated, she was blasted to the inhospitable Badlands. Separated from her army and starving for lack of love, Chrysalis is rescued by an unknowing pony who points her in the direction of the nearest town: Ponyville. As the battle-worn queen treks to the small town, she decides that she is tired of fighting a losing battle and would rather just settle down and live a normal life. But old grudges don't just lay down and die, and Chrysalis somehow managed to choose the one town home to all six of the ponies responsible for her downfall.

Each time Starlight forced her into a new world, it was just another variation of Tartarus that she was glad to leave behind and forget about. Unfortunately, thanks to over thirty timeline jumps, Starswirl's spell has gotten worn and frayed, forcing her to stop in this latest world to repair it. Fortunately, things seem relatively peaceful. Unfortunately, Twilight soon finds out the reason for that peace is...complicated.

It's been a while since Twilight Sparkle has heard from the changelings. Queen Chrysalis hasn't stirred any pots or burned any stews that Twilight hasn't heard of. Yet, when she is asked to visit the Changeling Hive for trade negotiations, she had to settle the score.

Twilight wished the score wasn't as shocking as it sounded, as Queen Chrysalis had more on her mind than just trade negotiations.
