Now Twilight has proven herself with the defeat of Discord, Lyra's mission is complete. She can finally drop her assumed identity of Heartstrings and resume her past life in Canterlot.

Hulda has run Whiterun's only tavern for a long time, and has seen many, strange things. She's dealt with drunkards, brawlers, politically-driven idiots who love wagging their tongues, and more. She believed she could handle about any situation that came her way. But...talking horses? How does anyone deal with crazy talking horses?

Understanding of the few Skyrim-named characters are not necessary, but it can make the story a little easier to follow.

Strange things happen in Ponyville. Foals start to disappear; their parents and siblings, struck by grief, will resort to every mean to find the cause. Some of them blame timberwolves; some blame the zebra living in the forest. Some of them even blame their fellow ponies. None of them, however, suspects a little filly suffering from insomnia...

Tired of the city life in Manehatten and longing for something simpler, Silver Moonshine uses his life's savings to open a business in Ponyville. While he is mostly well recieved, the one pony who takes the most issue with his trade happens to be the only mare that's ever caught his eye - Applejack. However, she is incredibly skeptical of the newcomer even as she struggles with feelings of desire, loneliness, and the fear of having her heart broken twice.

There was a time when the ponies did not have smoothies. They turned their heads skyward and cried for a fruity and slushy refreshment, but the princesses couldn't help. Then an alien descended from on high, a chalice in it's hand, and it grinned. For the alien knew of such a thing, and he was willing to share it, for a price.

And that price was two bits a cup.
