Some mistakes have been made, and some friendships torn and it seems like nothing but sadness will come from them, or at least that's what sweetie belle thinks. She gets some reassurance from a friend in her time of need. Sometimes you need to take two steps back before you can gallop.

Its been a few months since Scootaloo found out that Rainbow Dash was her mother, and the two couldn't be happier together. However when they find out that Scootaloo's condition is more complicated than they knew about before and Rainbow Dash receives a letter from an old "friend", things start to get hectic.

At the same time, a looming threat still remains on the horizon, one that can offer you your deepest desires, for a price.

Apple Bloom's latest idea for the Cutie Mark Crusaders leads to a row between her and Scootaloo, during which she unintentionally makes a harsh remark about the Pegasus filly's poor flying capabilities. Ashamed and angry, Scootaloo turns her back on the Crusaders; but shortly after their dispute, she bumps into a two-tone grey Pegasus colt named Rumble, who instantly feels sorry for her after hearing how bad she is at flying, and the two Pegasi strike up an immediate friendship.

As time goes on, Scootaloo starts to wonder if maybe her feelings for Rumble run far deeper - something that the other Cutie Mark Crusaders have noticed too, and soon, they begin making plans to bring them together. But when Apple Bloom decides to take it to the extreme, she accidentally lands Rumble in mortal danger. Will Scootaloo be able to save him?

Applebloom has grown up raised by her sister, brother and granny. She knew her parents passed away shortly after she was born but she never gave it much thought, until now.
After the apple family reunion she asks AJ for the story.

It has been two years since Applejack died and Pinkie Pie took Applebloom in. She has done her best to raise the little filly, and has a true love for her, but the fact still remains;

Being a "Just found out we're related!" cousin, isn't the same as being an actual, closely bonded, sister...

The last thing Applejack could remember, she was happily working in the fields of Sweet Apple Acres. But between one breath and the next, she finds herself transported to a world she barely recognizes, and fleeing for her life from foes straight out of legend.
When she discovers a small band of survivors, she is quick to learn that ten years have passed since anypony had seen or heard from her, and her once beautiful home had been reduced to a wasteland.
The leader of these survivors turns out to be none other than her sister Apple Bloom, now grown and scarred from the long years of battle.
Can Applejack find a way to turn the tide of war, and reclaim the world she remembers, and a sister who she barely knows?

For the Apple family, life at the orchard fosters several qualities: self-sufficiency, a love of nature, willingness to work. But above all, a love and appreciation for family, even if "family" extends beyond siblings, cousins, daughters, or other simple descriptions. It also provides plenty of chances for a young filly to live up to her aunt's legacy as a Crusader.

Inspired by the fourth AppleDash contest before the story decided to make its own path and wound up only mentioning the relationship in passing.

Life is hard for Applejack, because she's a farm pony, because she's an earth pony, but mostly because her body is composed of enigmatic and mysterious dark matter. Some days in particular are just not good for a super-heavy pony with her own gravitational pull.

Why can't unicorns use magic during Winter Wrap-Up? Applejack knows the answer, and with it comes the surprising truth about the origin of Ponyville, and the worst year in Equestria's history.

NOTE: This story was written in December 2010, before the show had explored Ponyville's history in any detail. Even though we now know the "real" origin of Ponyville (and it's completely different from what I came up with) I've decided not to change anything in my story. I guess you could consider it a "what if" scenario. I hope you enjoy it!

With the Equestrian Girls movies out, taken place in a universe that everypony from Equestria is in human form, I've decided to do a thought experiment.

The following story has to do with their version of Discord (simply known as Mr. Disc), and what would happen if he had stumbled into the land of Equestria.
