*The "fight" between Apple Bloom and Pinkie Pie the emotions where spot on.
*The white chrysanthemum fits Apple Bloom's name perfectly.

* Big Mac abandoning the farm... could have been expanded on... It just seems a bit ooc...

Memories of a passed loved one aren't a burden--rather, the burden is the pain held in them that layers sadness and pain over times that should be remembered with joy.
Fortunately, it looks like Apple Bloom will be willing to let Pinkie Pie teach her that.
This was an outstanding story. There are plenty of great one-shots, but emotionally intense one-shots that are this short are rather harder to find.
