A character telling another character "I forgive you" is not grounds for the reader to forgive that character. I have no real qualms with Discord in the show, I have qualms with how poorly that part of this fic was written.

It’s interesting to see how people make parallels between the two worlds.

Julius’ crippling dementia is an interesting and very real take on how Discord’s chaotic mind would translate to humanity, and it’s honestly interesting to see how he reacts to suddenly having chaos powers as Discord.
