Twilight Sparkle has earned quite a reputation in her young life. She's helped defeat Nightmare Moon and Discord, saved Ponyville from a rampaging Ursa Minor and a swarm of Pinkie Pie clones, authored the best-selling HUMAN trilogy of novels, and was recently crowned Equestria's fourth Alicorn princess. With so much fame attached to her name, it's no wonder she's offered the chance to adapt her HUMAN trilogy to Crystalvision. The question to ask is, how long will it take before the lavender princess cracks under the stress of balancing her royal duties with leading HUMAN's production? Probably Definitely sooner than she expects.

The first few chapters actually follow up the events of The Bold, The Brash, and The Beautiful, in turn setting up everything for the HUMAN sequel proper. Reading that story isn't necessary to enjoy or understand this one, however.

A long-forgotten villain escapes from Tartaurus Prison, taking Discord's power with him! Can a motley band of opposites and former enemies work together long enough to save Equestria?

Unfortunately, her latest explosion has not only gotten her suspended from her job, but also ordered to attend anger management. When she finds an alternative procedure, however, she's suddenly all smiles and giggles. Can her friends figure out what's happened and bring her back to normal? And more importantly, will Raindrops even want that to begin with?

After his staff of security officers come down with the billygoat flu, Iron Will desperately seeks replacements. With only a few hours before his seminar, he reluctantly hires four fillies to assist. Iron Will is skeptical, but he doesn't have much of a choice.

But does he really have anything to worry about? After all, it's just an assertiveness seminar. His new hires will just have to check tickets. Security is easy, isn't it? Nothing bad will happen.

Tartarus: the fabled prison said to hold all of the demons of Equus at bay.

Few truly know what lies behind the impenetrable doors Cerberus guards. Some say that it is a pit, infinite in it's depth and darkness, from which there is no return. Other claim it to be a hellish plain, filled with fire and pain and suffering, to punish the demons for their sins.

All of them are wrong.

Tartarus is small. An inescapable cell for a single prisoner. But the tales about it's purpose are not false.

For this captive human holds the key to unleashing upon Equestria forces which have not been seen for centuries, forces which predate Equestria by many an age.

And soon, he shall be free.

Life in Ponyville, outside of the usual events like a parasprite invasion or a revenge-seeking, all powerful megalomaniac kicking out the town librarian, tends to be laid back and typical. Which Applejack doesn't mind. However, after the CMC cause more problems due to influence from a newcomer in town, Applejack gathers the girls to go fix what the CMC did.

But then a mysterious creature ends up attacking Applejack, and while she survives and seems fine, it isn't long before she starts acting strangely. It's up to the usual group of ponies to figure out what's going on before it's too late.
