Starlight Glimmer finds a book in the basement of the Friendship Castle. It gives off a bad vibe, so Starlight asks Twilight to help study it's contents. What they find is both interesting and disturbing. But also humorous!

In her arrogance, Sunset Shimmer believed for years that she could outrun her past, no matter how much time went by. But with her defeat at the hands of Twilight Sparkle, and her humiliation in front of the entire school, that assumption, like so many others, has been proven gravely incorrect.

Now, like all those who came before her who thought the same, she must look within herself and face her demons. What question remains is whether she can quell the fire within, or if it will consume her entirely.

It wasn't Eric's fault he hit the alien with his truck. How was he supposed to see a dog-sized horse walking down the highway in the pouring rain? His life would've been simpler if he just left the animal like any other roadkill. But in his injured delirium, the horse spoke.

This accident soon ends with an intimate personal knowledge of just how dangerous magic can be. An ancient rises, tied to a mysterious tome the pegasus was protecting on the night of the accident. A malevolent force grows within those pages, whispering louder and louder about the cleansing flame. But without the spells inside that cursed tome, Eric's humanity will be gone forever.

The second week of Anon's impromptu displacement had gone reasonably well. The quaint folk of Ponyville have taken him in as well they could, considering his origins and uncommon physique. The local Goddess' of day and night bequeathed him a place to call his own (a bit of a fixer-upper, but he'll manage), and even granted him citizenship!

So why does he feel so conflicted? As the young man struggles to get his emotions under control, said horse Goddess butts in to keep him company.

He really doesn't mind.

A Teenager wonders why he even continues on with life. Everyone he once knew hates him, only because he likes My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Both day in and day out he was lashed verbally and physically by those he once trusted.

My Little Pony helped him through those hard times. But it could never repair the trust issues he had. Even if it was with someone... or something he knew the true nature of.

But one day at a convention, everything changed. Maybe for the better. Maybe...

He can't remember his name, can't remember certain events, and only knows three nicknames that fit him the most. Each with a different meaning.

"The Defender", "The Wanderer", and " The Deceiver"

But only a few know what he prefers to go by, "The Courier"

It's been a couple years or so ever since the Dimensional Tear Incident of 2018—something that no one would've ever thought of happening. On both worlds, everyone is still getting used to the fact that alien life does indeed exist, some coming to terms faster than others. Cultural exchange is slow but relations only continue to get stronger.

In a show of kindness, the U.S sends a volunteer over to the Equestrian side to help manage their security problems; something that's been plaguing them for quite some time now.

It is quite the shame that MA Brandt is in for quite the shock.

Why on earth or Equestria did you ever volunteer to fillysit Moonie? You're not too good around kids in the first place, and you've never dealt with baby ponies much at all. So, trying to take care of a tiny queen of the night is...well...a nightmare. But surely you can manage for one night if you really put your mind to it. It's just one little filly. How hard could it be?

It was supposed to be a test, one of monumental weight that decided the future of Equestria. Sending Twilight and her friends to save the Crystal Empire. Celestia had doubts but she thought they were able to step up to the challenge.

But to her worry, she had not received a report or letter for the past two hours. What kind of heinous punishments was Twilight enduring? What vile, disastrous magic was being inflicted upon her?

Would Sombra even keep her alive?
