Everypony in town knows -of- Derpy, but how many really know her? A story examining the heart and soul of the mother mailmare as a strange revelation forces her to redefine her understanding of friends, family, and what qualifies as normal.

Last time Gilda the Griffin was in town she got into a fight with Raindrops. This fight will have consequences neither she, or Raindrops could have ever imagined. Starting with the fact she now has to break up with Rainbow Dash... not that Rainbow Dash knew there were apparently dating.

This is my third entry for the Lunaverse Hearts & Hooves Day 2013 special event! The pairing in this fanfic was decided by a random number generator, and I did my best. This fic is 100% non-canon to the Lunaverse and 1000% silly! This story is technically a sequel to Griffin Over the Line by Emeral Bookwise, but knowledge of Lunaverse canon is not needed to enjoy this story, with all the information you need to understand it included in the story.

And does she have what it takes to be a hero for real this time, or will ego and doubt get in the way?

Raindrops likes being the strongest mare in town, if for no other reason than her vast strength helps her to guard her little brother, Snails, from those who would harm him. But when one of Equestria's most powerful warriors shows up in Ponyville, Raindrops finds that a strong right hook alone isn't always enough to protect those she loves. Her new opponent claims that Raindrops hurt her own little brother and insists that they duel, but though Raindrops knows she can't possibly win such a challenge, she also knows that Snails may wind up in the crossfire if she doesn't deal with this new enemy immediately. Raindrops soon learns that force of arms won't work, and neither will any other trick in her playbook. However, the magic of friendship might just enable her to prevail... and perhaps solve another brewing crisis in Ponyville's farming community while she's at it. Lunaverse story.

With the worst storm in her career blowing in from the Everfree Forest, she has to face down unending rain, hail, lightning, and worst of all: Cloud Kicker's nymphomania. The question now is what will give first: her body, or her sanity?

Ever since Gilda the griffin came to town, Rainbow Dash has been slacking off from her weather duties even more than usual. Worse still, the pair have been practically terrorizing the townsfolk with recklessly inconsiderate pranks. Raindrops has been trying to take this all in stride, but when one prank goes too far, the temperamental pegasus must take it into her own hooves to teach the pair a lesson.
