A few days have passed since Tirek was defeated and Twilight was named the Princess of Friendship. Now with a huge burden of responsibility bestowed upon her, Twilight is depressed and unable to sleep. Getting up to assist Spike with his own issues, Twilight may find that she is the one in need of help.

Based on PaperDrop's image, the first chapter was inspired by the July 2014 The Writeoff Association prompt, "History Repeats," the second chapter by the September 2014 prompt, "There is Magic in Everything," and the third chapter by the June 2014 prompt, "Long Way Home." The original version was written as a stand-alone story for the Equestria Daily 2014 Friend Off.

Celestia has a problem: a precocious baby dragon who keeps wandering off. And all the kindness and understanding of a Princess can't help... because she's not the one Spike's looking for.

Due to her reckless antics and tomboyish behavior, Rainbow Dash has generally been thought of as one that had no real interest in the matters of love and dating. However, she gets challenged by Spike one day when he tells his friends that he would never be able to fall in love with her. Given Rainbow's competitive nature, a new challenge between the two of them begins.

She tries to steal Spike's heart and if he falls in love, he loses!

Between awkward dates, friendly interference, a jealous Rarity, an over-protective Twilight and a betting pool stretching all across Equestria, who knows what ending awaits them!
