This is my first MLP fic, and the first story I have posted online in many years. Its been bouncing around my head for several months now, and I've been wanting to write for much longer. I would like some feedback on my writing style, and if you have any ideas for where to take this tale, please share them with me.

We all have them.

Even Nightmare Moon herself has them.

But how does she handle her own name being used for something so vile? Something painful, pointless, and cruel. Which forces you to rise from rest in sobs and heart break.

And worse, who could ever love a nightmare?

As Nightmare Moon is defeated Twilight Sparkle gains an unexpected surprise, a foal! Just who is the second parent(s) to the foal and how will she adjust to being an unexpected mother? And just how will this effect the others.

Twilight Sparkle discovers that the alternate timelines created by Starlight Glimmer in her misguided attempt at revenge did not, in fact, disappear when the original timeline was restored. Instead, they persisted as separate, parallel universes.

Never one to leave a job unfinished, she decides to employ the magic of friendship to restore those universes to a more harmonious state.

She begins with Nightmare Moon.

Upon being banished to the moon, Nightmare Moon found that she was able to communicate with Discord, also sealed away as a statue.

The two despise one another, but compared to an endless monotony, even two hated foes would rather talk with one another. Over time, Discord and Nightmare Moon begin to fall in love, right up until tragedy strikes.
