Torque has been working as a mechanic for his father in Vanhoover for years. His hobbies are inventing, building, and making others happy. When he finds himself moving to Ponyville, he discovers that his optimism and love of helping others are just what a fatherless child needs in her life, and the key to helping her mother get through each day. Inserting oneself into a place you aren't meant to be isn't easy, but as time goes on, the earth pony learns that this is where he needs to be.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders never got along with Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. Scootaloo hates them more then the other two, and wants nothing more then for them to disappear off the face of Equestria. Applebloom and Sweetiebelle started to learn more about Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, and what made them turn into what they are today. However Scootaloo doesn't seem to care to learn about them at all. Rarity was dragged into this conflict, and wants to know herself what happened to those two fillies to cause them to act the way they do.

After visiting the spa, Fluttershy and Rarity drop in to say hi to Twilight. Unfortunately, they end up startling her in the midst of her studies, and a spell is accidentally cast. The end result? Fluttershy and Rarity switch bodies, and Twilight has no idea how to fix it - yet.

For the two friends, learning how to handle their new bodies will be challenging enough. But what about the lives and responsibilities attached to them? Things only become more complicated when the Cutie Mark Crusaders get involved...

Summoned by the Cutie Map, the CMC find themselves on a journey to the Highlands, a land of Equestria home to a mysterious race of transforming creatures with a dark secret and a sinister past.

Hey, I'm Sweetie Belle, and this year at school is pretty much going to be the best ever. I mean, it has to be, since if it isn't, my friends will all leave me as soon as they get their cutie marks. Also, I have to deal with Diamond Tiara being in one of my classes, and she's pretty much as terrible as always. Plus, the teacher for that class is a big mean jerk. Oh! And apparently I'm not good at acting, making the list of things I am good at exactly zero. But besides the fact that my friends are probably going to leave me, my acting class hates me, and I'm not really good at anything, everything's great. It has to be. After all, this is the best year ever.

Sweetie Belle is a little bit different then most, she isn't allowed to swim, go near magnets, or stay out for too long. When Scootaloo and Applebloom decide to investigate they may find a little more then they asked for.

When the Cutie Mark Crusaders ruin Applejack's stetson hat, Big Macintosh offers to take it to Rarity's boutique in order to get it repaired. But was that the only reason he's going there?
