Things have been a bit busier for me lately, which means I haven't written much. But I am confident I should be able to finish The Crimson Crusade in the next several weeks. I've gotten a bit ahead of myself with writing. As in, I skipped ahead and started writing parts closer to the finale, so that things tie together in the way I want them to. I just wrote about 800 words of an emotional breakdown and I'm really excited to tie it together with the remainder of the story. I figured out what I want my story to mean. Today was a pretty good day for writing, wordcount-wise. I wrote more of an intro for Chapter 5 to flesh out Apple Bloom a bit more, and wrote about 1000 words for Chapter 6. It was pointed out that Apple Bloom's transformation felt a bit "fast", so to say, and I'd agree with that. I think the addition to Chapter 5 helps a bit, but I may go back to the introduction to Sigil scene to draw it out more, and make it feel more meaningful.

The next chapter will be out tomorrow, and it also will mark the end of what I've written mostly in advance. But this is where writing usually gets easier for me, since all the main development and plot stuff is mostly written. The next chapter is essentially the glue between the first and second part of the story, the second being actually in the Highlands and interacting with Lirins/Nirils.
