The Turtles and the Rainbooms had been enjoying their as usual. There was not much crime to fight and had enjoyed doing what they did best at CHS.

At the same time, a man with nothing to lose just so happens to arrive in Canterlot City. And he has a form of justice that puts him in conflict with the our heroes.

Inspired by Fallout Equestria and the Cold War, the story begins in the 1950s, being told from the point of view of General Commander Sniperplayer Mount, a patriotic Equestrian and Hero of War, the government of Equestria is a Unitary Autocracy, which is in a exchange threats with Stalliongrad, a totalitarian authoritarian country, but the threats won't last long until they escalate to a more dangerous level.

This story is a sequel to A Certain Magical Sunset

Sunset and Twilight, recently graduated from Canterlot High, have accepted the opportunity to attend University in Academy City, honing not just their intellects but their magical skills as they become embroiled in the plots within plots at the heart of the Academy and beyond.

This story is a cross-over between the Shimmering Hearts verse from Six Friends One Heart, and the magical wild verse from A Certain Scientific Railgun and it's companion stories. The insane magic in Railgun, psychic and otherwise, along with the intrigue, drama, and friendships in those stories made this a natural fit with Shimmering Hearts.

It's recommended to read prequel first as it does provide the background for the setting and characters.

It has been several years since Principal Celestia lost her wonderful family in a terrible accident that resulted in the disappearance of her only daughter. Several years of guilt and sadness took their toll on several of those closest to her, including her husband, but somehow she was able to overcome it. When a young girl forced her way into her office, begging to be enrolled, she thought it was just a cruel joke of the world, God or any force majeure. Especially when that girl turned out to be a tormented villain from another universe. But could Celestia's mistake be another girl's salvation?

Starting his first day, Spike learns that he'll not only is he bunking with three sexy female students, but he'll also be leading them as the team captain!

Little bits of stories that I started and then abandoned in favor of other pursuits. One was because I wasn't sure how to progress them past a certain point. The other was because it really dredged up some bad memories and I needed a break from it.
