Yes, after over eight years on the site and I don't know how many words put down in comments over that time, I'm finally putting up an actual story. Well, "story". I do occasionally write, or more often imagine and not bother to write, various pieces of fiction, and this I expect to be more a collection of them than something that ever has much of a "chapter" to "chapter" cohesive narrative. The first five of the six "chapters" I'm planning to post at the start have already been blog posts (though with some reformatting and such)... but the sixth, I've not posted anywhere before. In the future I might dig through my past for more old fragments, and there's a chance that perhaps having this "story" out will encourage me to actually write more.

No idea how often this'll actually update, though. Also, not sure how much the things in here will be edited; despite how much time I've spent editing other people's stories, I have little enough successful experience writing that I'd rather focus on getting down what I can. Base level shouldn't be too bad, though, knowing me.

Also, I'm surprised to see that apparently no one else on the site has used "Ostraca" for a story title. Eh.

(Also, rating this Teen just to be safe. No idea if that is or will be needed (I am, again, very new to this story-posting thing), but it seemed prudent given my uncertainty about whether it's needed or not.)

The Main 7 Along with Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo become Power Rangers and team up with the Dino Charge Power Rangers to save the Earth from Sledge. along with Legendary Rangers, the story takes place after Legand Of Everfree so when readers get to Rainbow's chapter and ask why she was mean to the Dazzlings it is because the Rainbooms do not know what the Dazzlings have been up to since Rainbow Rocks

Rick, a very enthusiastic human, meets Twilight, a curious pony who wants to know his name.

Rick isn't having any of it.

Spike has a few questions for Twilight.
Twilight isn't ready.

Takes place somewhere before the series finale.

It's a nice, sunny day, and Derpy's out on a date with the dessert she's just ordered. Derpy's into some pretty weird things.

Spike the dragon. Personal student of Princess Celestia. Sharp. Attentive. Currently on a four-week study bender of rare, foul-tasting slugs. Not the kind of creature you would typically find at a seedy Canterlot dive bar on a Saturday night. 

But when his assistant, a rambunctious unicorn with a penchant for punk rock, inadvertently ruins his experiment for a night of wild partying, Spike takes it upon himself to reign her back in. Being family means fighting fires you didn’t start. And this unicorn seems determined to start as many as possible.

For the first Nightmare Night since her crowning ceremony, Twilight chose to organise a celebration of sorts in Canterlot. Some nobles suggested a play. Some, a parade. An end to the discussions came when Pinkie suggested both.

It came to happen, unfortunately, that just hours before the playrade one of the actors twisted his ankle. The one tasked with playing the role of Death. Once again, Pinkie came to the rescue with her own solution.

Twilight really wished she hadn't.

Nightmare Night for someponies is the best time of the year. Everypony gets to dress up in cool, intersting costume and stuff themselves to the gills with all manner of delicious treats. However, when Braeburn and Big Mac decide to indulge a potion seller in their craft, it will lead to a holiday experience they most certainly won't forget.

Pinkie Pie's a big fan of Japanese giant monster movies. Even the cheesy, old ones. Especially the cheesy, old ones.

She's enough of a fan that one day, she decides to make her *own* giant monster movie, in tribute to the weird and wonderful stories of giant atomic lizards, aliens, and robots smashing cities and fighting each other.

Rainbow Dash thinks it's an awesome idea, and soon ropes in other people to help make "Pinkzilla" a reality.
