Jake has been in prison for a while now and recently Princess Luna was sent to the moon. With a creepy moon and a quiet life, there's hope in storage and an annoying sun goddess.

Set before the Crystal Empire episodes, Equestria is in a state of chaos. When the Mane 6 find a small portal deep within the Everfree Forest, Celestia decides to go in herself, bringing her loyal phoenix Philomena with her. There, she is transported back to the past and the Crystal Empire, finding someone she'd only heard about in legends to help.

I spread my wings and flew.
My fire dosed by the storm inside of me. I had a family. A small nest to call my own. A home.
And they were all taken from me. Taken by those who feared us. Despised us for what we weren’t.
They had called us a bird of evil. One that had rose from the deepest part of Tartarus. Covered in its hellish flams.
They called us monsters.

Princess Platinum cannot be her full name. Can it? It's not.

Philomena. Philomena Platinum. That is her full name.

But why?

The Two Young Princesses ask to find out, and are told a story told to an old Friend many years ago.

This is just a Short One Shot made out of the blue when thinking about names different characters could have, specifically ones from Equestria's founding.

Some nights can be exceptionally weird. Especially when a random box arrives in Princess Celestia's mail, with no return address. Inside, lies a shiny little red button.

What's it for? What does it do? Who sent it? Where did it come from? Is it some supernatural world-destroying weapon, or a magical artifact that grants wishes? Who cares? Why don't you just press it and find out!!

Three weeks after the initial banishment of Nightmare Moon, Celestia is still plagued with guilt over her sister's fate. Haunted with recurring visions by night and an ominous singing by day, her stability as a ruler is deteriorating, as well as that of her nation. With riots threatening to tear apart Equestria, Starswirl and Rose Petal are hard-pressed to find a solution, and fast. When they do find one, however, it isn't all that easy. As they deal with the pain of loss in their own lives, they too must come to ask themselves the fateful question:

"Is it really better to forget?"
