Once upon a time, there was an evil enchantress called Prismia. Only one special little pony could stop her.

Sunburst flunked out of Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns and had little to aspire for before the Lunar Rebellion, but the new regime had plans for ponies like him. Former students of Celestia’s prestigious schools were offered jobs by the Lunar state, with Sunburst himself taking one of these offers up and finding himself working for the Imperial Institute of Arcane Sciences as a researcher and magic practitioner.

Yet on the job, Sunburst is told about what became of her old friend Starlight Glimmer. Out on the Equestrian periphery, his old friend preaches an ideology advocating the elimination of cutie marks and enforces this worldview on her followers through a dystopian system of control and manipulation. Upon hearing of it, Sunburst can barely believe it.

Then he's ordered to investigate Starlight by using magic he can barely pull off.

It can only go so well.

Takes place in my New Lunar Millennium alternate universe. Some original characters from the universe are featured, but no prior knowledge beyond the general concept is required to read. More information can be found here.

With his house being destroyed yet again Anon forsakes Equestira for the lands of Canada.

Only problem being Canada doesn't exist in Equestria. But he won’t let that get in his way.

Also Luna joins him.

Everyone has to sleep eventually—everyone, which means that at some point Sunset's new roommate is going to have to stop messing around with her computer and go to bed. But somehow the one-and-only Twilight Sparkle doesn't need to obey the laws of the universe, and therefore she might just be the one-and-only person who never sleeps.

Once every several years, creatures from across the world gather together to watch a rare species of Equestrian butterfly begin its migration. For some, though, the event is more than just a spectacle.

Twilight loves her friends, all 4 of them. The five ponies go on great adventures and enjoy spending time with one another. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this picture, or so, Twilight believes until she finds hard evidence to the contrary. What happened to her sixth friend? Why can’t Twilight remember?

The road to find the truth she seeks is dangerous and will both challenge and change her.

This story is a slightly reimagined sequel to Cupcakes by Sergeant Sprinkles. Having read this story is not necessary, but does help provide additional context.

Rated T for dark tones, dark imagery, and implications of violence.

Starlight Glimmer knows what she has to do. A filly stuck in a stone statue for eternity can’t be a just punishment, not when she herself has been redeemed and shown the magic of friendship. Can Starlight Glimmer convince the Council of Friendship to free Cozy Glow?

The Storm King is gone, but all is not yet in harmony as a new threat of darkness comes out of the west. If contending with the harsh desert of the Zebhara wasn't enough our reluctant hero gets drawn in to larger events that may shape the fate of North Zebrica.

Chrysalis knew her new plan was perfect. After all, she already defeated Cadance once, and the weak alicorn was all that stood between the Queen of Changelings and the power inside the Crystal Heart.

But her plan was far from perfect, thanks to her own actions years ago. And now she would face the consequences of what she once did; consequences that threaten more then just her, as Cadance once again faces her old tormentor.

Rated Teen because Chrysalis is very much a sadistic monster, and Cadance is not going to take it well this time.
