Video Games are one thing, but when VR comes into play, it changes the formula completely. VR was a new thing for the ponies of Equestria. But when a video game created especially for VR is released, it's a new thing for everypony. Unfortunately for humans it only brings back scars from the past. This is the case for the popular VR game series Sword Art Online. Now SAO is brought into Equestria so that the ponies could experience the excitement themselves or that was the case. But when a deadly virus is planted into the game, nightmares once again rise in it's new form. Now armed with sword, magic, or guns, Twilight and her friends must work together with former survivors of the death game and a police investigator to find the hacker responsible for planting the virus. Otherwise it's Game Over. Characters from the original series, the movie, and games will make an appearance.
