It's finally Saturday, and after a long week I have some time to just sit back and play some games with a few of my friends.

It's a weekly thing we have going, every Saturday we pick a game to spend a few hours playing it. This week it's my choice, and I decided on playing the 30th anniversary edition of Rome: Total war. James complained about my choice, but he picked a Mario game last time so he can just deal with it.

I just hope that Mike doesn't try and put his mods in again, considering what happened last time. Well, I doubt that anything can be weirder than the dancing Carthaginians, so I probably don't have all that much to worry about.

Twilight has become an Alicorn, moved to Canterlot, and begun her new life as the princess of magic. Back in Ponyville, there are those who miss her greatly, especially one shy farm pony who regrets never admitting his feelings.

Poison Dart, Lunar guard, chose sides in the Lunar War. He chose to fly against his Princess, to support Celestia, to save Equestria. He attended the last battle with Nightmare Moon and was violently decapitated before he could make much of a difference.

But, of course, he didn't die. That would have been too easy.

Unable to relate to his few surviving friends among the Lunar Guard, and feared by his acquaintances in the Solar forces, there is exactly one pony who will talk to Dart: Princess Celestia, who banished his charge. She's strangely fascinated by this relic of her sister's powers, and keeps Dart at her side at all times. Which is why he has no choice but to tag along when she suddenly bucks her duties as the sole Equestrian Princess and takes off across the country, searching for the source of Luna's corruption. It soon becomes apparent that Dart isn't the only pony touched by the Nightmare's dark magic--and these remnants of her power aren't the only threat to their country.

Rated Teen for numerous sexual and alcohol references, as well violence and gore.

Twilight Sparkle has finally gotten her driver's license, at the behest of her friends. And because Princess Celestia effectively bought her a car in hopes of Twilight becoming more socially active. So what does Twilight do with this newfound freedom? She breaks the law.

HUMANIZED, but only because it wouldn't make any sense for them to be ponies in this context.

Spike's feelings for Rarity have grown stronger over the years. He feels like Rarity is just ignoring his feelings, for Spike, this feeling like rejection. This causes minor depression in the little dragon, but as the 'rejection' continues, it could lead to 'life-threatening depression.

Fluttershy makes a few appearances.

It was supposed to be Trixie's vacation, a soul searching trip to Ponyville. Instead she found herself in a town full of crazy, enthralled ponies, the result of Twilight becoming corrupted by a mysterious amulet.

Managing to escape conversion, she set out to form a resistance movement. It's off to a great start. She already has Fluttershy.

When Gummy finally realizes what his true affections for Pinkie are, he decides to tell her. However, he is entirely incapable of speech, and must resort to other methods to tell her.

In a desperate attempt to thwart the plans of a power-hungry sorceror, Twilight Sparkle ends up displaced in time.

She finds herself in a world untouched by catastrophe of any kind. Everything turned out well in her absence, and her friends, who have missed her dearly for the last decade, are overjoyed to have her back.

Now she has a decision to make. Go to fight the foe she left behind, restoring time as it should have been, or stay and leave him be. All is well that ends well, after all. Right?
