This story is a sequel to The True Me

Silent Power. A young colt with no parents comes to ponyville. nobody knows anything about him. But try as they might. They cant get him to talk. But one filly comes close to his heart.

(The violence tag is for a minor bit of wording in the 4th chapter. And the Death tag is obvious once you read it.)

Once upon a time, in the magical land of Equestria, A bunch of bombs got dropped and a bunch of ponies died, but some survived in massive underground shelters called stables. But not this pony! Oh no! This pony made himself immortal in a secret military R&D facility that nopony knows about, watched almost everyone he knew die, and then ran out into a blizzard! Despite all that, he seems to be doing alright. Well there was that little bout with PTSD there, and he’s not that great with emotions, or other ponies really. And don’t even get me started on the photo-realistic flashbacks and hallucinations of his past. Lucky for him he’s got a AI companion to deal with all that charismatic stuff while he tinkers, shoots things, sneaks around, and does his best apathetic bounty hunter impression. Follow the tale of StormShadow as he does everything that was just listed above and more as he accidently and a little unwillingly embarks on a journey to kill stuff and save the friends he doesn’t yet have!

Set a couple days after the near-disaster that was Rarity's fashion debut for new up-and-coming designers (Honest Apple), this story is about two ponies who tried to ignore and shove away their feelings.

After Rarity finds out from Apple Bloom that Applejack sometimes goes out to some unknown location in the orchards to work off stress. And that she's been gone out there for a couple days this time, she makes her way to Sweet Apple Acres; determined to find out what is wrong with her friend.

Over the course of man’s existence, there have been some questions that we haven’t been able to answer, such as what the meaning of life is and why we always lose a sock in the dryer.

People always say that they want one last chance. One more try to do things. Regret is one of the stronger feelings that a pony can suffer. It is a reminder of something that they could have or should have done. Something that chases after them throughout their lives.

Sometimes it is worse. Sometimes, things change suddenly, and leave no time for anypony to do what they want to do. Things happen so fast that actions are left in stone, and nothing can ever change it.

There is no such thing as a second chance. There is only ever the mending, and that is a blessing for the healing it offers. When it is missing, nothing heals. When something is bad enough, some might contemplate simply lying down and never waking again.

Twilight wakes, and something is wrong. What could it be? She can find out.

But will she want to?

Years of solitude threatened her sanity, but there was hope. She could hear distant voices calling her a single night every year. Ponies finally appreciated her night!

Unfortunately, her greatest hope turned into her greatest torment.
