Seriously, truly sorry about saying nothing for literally a month and a half. It's been... awkward lately. Not gonna get into any personal details, but just know that things are fine despite the nonsense. Writing slowed to a microcosm crawl, but I think I hit a breakthrough for a side chapter I was working on for "Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children" (thank you Season 7 box set!). Hopefully I'll be able to jump back into said chapter soon enough... provided that I actually get to work and not
I've seen this series around for long enough, and I've followed the alt of SS&E for long enough. I'm gonna aim for one chapter per day at minimum until I manage to catch up to the current state of things.
All this, and I'm still not starting FO:E. Goodness I am worthless.

My first in eight years 
I saw this lovely piece of artwork and decided to write a story of an unexpected conversation between my two favourite characters in the show it's from, Girls und Panzer, even though they have no screentime together and no bond whatsoever in the show. Much like how I started out in fan fiction all those years ago, actually, so it felt a bit like going back to the beginning.

Joking with a friend on Skype earlier lead me to reminding myself of a fic I was working on...months ago.

This one took me between 4.5 and 5 hours to build, partly because I was painting as I went. I used silver marker under the clear blue pieces, and of course I painted the sword and end of the scabbard. I would have used black marker instead of the stickers for the shoulders and ankles, but mine don't stay well if you're going to touch it often.
So, I'll be working on (and publishing) the next chapter for What I've Done in the next couple of days. Shouldn't take me too long, seeing as how I know exactly what I want to do.
In other news, I've finished a new chapter for A Hiss in the Dark. Come on, guys, I'm not asking for money, donations, or free stuff. All I'm asking is that you give this story a chance.
I have a job now! While this is good because a) money b) money, it had cut somewhat into my previously near-unlimited potential writing time (I say potential because my muse is not nearly efficient enough to actually use that time effectively). The mysterious contest fic didn't get done, but it's going to be done sometime soon as a fully-fledged story. Complete with at least one sequel.
