Hello friends.
I'm trying to raise money for me and Amber Spark after we suffered an accident with a U-Haul truck. The link to the GoFundMe page is here.

So, I got a new job this month! It actually pays pretty decently, once the ball gets rolling. The downside is... I get paid only once a month at the end of the month. Coming into this new job, I didn't have a lot of cash to burn, and I had to pack up and move my stuff to get settled in. Moving cost way more than I hoped.
The actual move went fine. The next day, as me and Amber were going to pick up some second-hand furniture someone was kind enough to give us, we got into a nasty accident on the freeway. That was the first car accident I had ever been a part of, and it was in a U-haul truck.
I got out of it with only some bruises and a broken pair of glasses. Amber, however, had her arm broken. Now, her insurance appears to be taking care of (most) of those expenses. The good news is, that was the worst of it and the other party appears to be unhurt. I also had accident insurance on the truck. I'm still waiting to see just how much was covered, though I have a sinking feeling I'm still going to have to pay something out of pocket.
In the meantime, because I never returned the truck to the center (because the front fender went into the radiator and it had to be towed), I currently owe a late fee of several hundred dollars. I'm trying to dispute this, but like any big business, I'm getting the runaround by three different departments.
So, I'm not getting paid until Halloween. Because I didn't work the full month, it won't be a full paycheck. Debt is piling up for both me and Amber.
I'm just trying to get a cushion for the two of us. A boost to help alleviate some of the stress between now and the end of November. If you can give something, that would be fantastic! If you can only signal boost, that still helps! I've tried to help people in the community when they were struggling before. Now, it's my turn to ask for some assistance. I tried to stave off for as long as I could. I'm not going to paint this as doom and gloom but, wow, I'm stressing.

I was so sorry to hear when Amber told me. What a terribly rough time for both of you, and that majorly sucks when it comes to timing. My canuck bucks don't go super far when translated to USD but I hope that little bit and spreading the word helps.
Heal up right now, things will get better. You both deserve some good times ahead
