Recently one of my friends and me got into a bit of a quarrel about the state of modern RPGs. While he thinks that RPGs are at their lowest with D&D 5, the new 7th Sea being disappointing and FF games losing Warhammer, I personally think that we are in an golden age of Roleplaying with sites like DriveThruRPG and the like allowing us to find games that would have never seen publishing alone.
I created my own characters, each with different stats. I know RPs aren't allowed here, so maybe on Skype? I'm nathanj700.
Please? I'll explain the rules in Skype. My name's nathanj700.
So. Who likes Noir media?
I'll confess it's not my very favorite, but I do find it compelling. And I do enjoy interesting roleplaying games. To wit
A small, independent RPG dedicated to Noir. It looks pretty cool, and he's doing a lot of neat extra setting things. Noir in space. Noir Cthulhu. A blatant Who Framed Roger Rabbit expy. All kinds of shit.
It took a while, but my RPG for bronies, Tiny Horsies, is finally on DrivethruRPG.com!
The RPG project I was working on is ready for playtesting, the tabletop version anyway. Drop me a line if you’re interested in being part of the playtesting.
I also created a Discord for the playtesting, click here to go to it
Comes out next month. No idea what it's all about, really, but I thought you nerds might wanna know.
There's some kind of preview here. Haven't watched it just yet. Will do once I have time.
Well... I did promise a review of this eventually, right? I upheld my Halo: Combat Evolved review, but I never really got around to this. Could be any reason, really. Maybe I was bored, or just didn't have the energy to do so, but whatever the case may be, here I am now reviewing the game. So, let's delve right into Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, the final game of the "Year of Luigi"!
Hello everyone!
I've thrown around this idea with my Patrons and I think it's about time to bring it to fruition. Every month I'm going to be opening up to five (5) spots for a very special patron project: The WD RPG!
You might wonder: "What is this wonderful thing of wonderfulness that you have so wonderfully willfully named?"
Christmas is upon us here in the godawful human world.
I would much rather celebrate hearts warming eve. Alright now i've got to go continue making my 50+ hour RPG Maker game. : )
(Sorry this post is late. I thought yesterday was still September for some reason, but we're on track for sure now. Thanks for understanding!)
So. This game. I hesitate to even call it a game, and that is not meant in any sort of bad way! On the contrary, if we're going to be judging this...THING as a game, I still give it very high scores! The design is reminiscent of old-school games from many a gamer's childhood, the humor is stellar and the game is very much self-aware. That isn't what drew me in however.
It's that time of year, everyone! The time of spooky-scary skeletons, sparkling vampires, radical demons and what not! So what better way to celebrate the spooky season than with my first ever month-thing! Yes, that's right; all throughout the month will be nothing but me gawking over RPGs, my favorite genre of video game! So, what exactly can you expect in this month? Well...
A few months ago an official My little Pony tabletop RPG was released.

I know a fair number of people seem to like listening to instrumental music when they are writing. Usually when the subject comes up, I pull out a few of my favorite non-instrumental albums to listen to. However, one type of music I listen to on occasion that might not be obvious to people looking for music to listen to that doesn't have lyrics. That would be video game music remixes.
