Seriously, truly sorry about saying nothing for literally a month and a half. It's been... awkward lately. Not gonna get into any personal details, but just know that things are fine despite the nonsense. Writing slowed to a microcosm crawl, but I think I hit a breakthrough for a side chapter I was working on for "Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children" (thank you Season 7 box set!). Hopefully I'll be able to jump back into said chapter soon enough... provided that I actually get to work and not procrastinate again. Though, that's gonna be a hard sell considering what's coming up.
Holiday seasons are upon us, though! I'm somewhat excited over that, but mostly because of what this month is bringing rather than the holiday itself. To be fair, the holiday more or less got shot with the funky rona issue that's been troubling us all for the past year, but I'm not gonna let that get me down. Even if I don't get to see my family during those cherished days, I'mma still make myself some awesome scalloped potatoes, watch some Christmas movies/specials, and probably play the ever loving SHIT out of DMC5 once again (especially on the 26th), not to mention hang with my dearly beloved through it all... provided that she isn't working at the time. Dunno what her schedule at work is, lol.
Anyway, I'll try to get some writing done, but don't expect anything by the end of the month. I botched that plan BIG time. In the meantime, you try to have a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, Happy Hearth's Warming, or whatever holiday you celebrate at this time of year, and try to enjoy yourselves and stay safe in these trying and patience draining times.
