Hello to anyone who gives a shit. I'm alive, and I'm currently working on a major book. It's been something I've been working on long before I dared enter the fandom and long before I made an account here. It's called soviet hellscape. You probably won't see it for a while though.
Like the title says.
FanOfMostEverything hosted another contest and since the theme was somewhat relatable to the last one, the story I wrote for it is a sequel to the misadventures of our favorite S.M.I.L.E. agents. This time the contest theme was different versions of the same character meeting, so you can all guess where this is going. If not, the sequel is titled How To Train Your Evil Doppelganger.

Not a Brit, but I always found the idea of Bonfire Nite interesting, so I like to at least acknowledge it on the day of.
Anyway, not too much to really report on my end. Writing has become a bit staggered lately (due to lack of motivation as a result of recent reader turnout), but I am going to try to get SOMETHING more substantial done by the end of the year. Maybe I'll actually start the "Elements" sequel? I dunno, really...

Another new year is here. That means lots of new beginnings, looking forward, etc. All those platitudes and cliches we've come to know and possibly tolerate. But just as important as looking to the future, perhaps even more important, is examining the past. Learning from our mistakes and critiquing our own work is crucial if we want to grow as writers (and as people).
Yeah, it's another one of those weekends where I'm moving Stalk Me While I Write to Saturday instead of Sunday. This Sunday is the Gallifrey One staff meeting (not the earlier week, like I'd thought), so Tale Weaver and I are making an appearance to meet our new ConOps master boss.

So, I said my next blogpost would be Author's Notes for my latest Sunset story. That's obviously not the case, and I'm sorry. However, I am working on the story right now.
