I want to take a moment to announce this publicly and officially announce my novel now that it is fully planned and it has an expected finish by date. I am hoping to get the novel finished by the end of January to early February 2018.

Fluttercheer here, with an important service announcement. What you will read here is something I wasn't originally going to write, but since I'm silent here for about two and a half weeks now, I figured it will be best if I tell what's going on to inform my followers and the few, brave diehards who read Aegis.
.....is to always be 100% honest with their followers. And the truth is, I got struck with a heavy fit of depression that crippled me for the most part during the last five days. That is why the final chapter of "Aegis" still isn't there and why there wasn't the promised writing report yesterday.

Or, something like that. Relationship and Internet drama (more about that will follow when the stars are aligned for it, can't go into detail right now, but you'll know what that means once you see it) hampered my concentration and writing output a bit again, so the last few months felt a bit like a madhouse for me, but things keep moving along.
October is here..... And you all know what this means.

As announced a few weeks ago, at the bottom of this blog entry, "Aegis" continues now! I'll use the mid-season hiatus to get out the last two chapters for it and the penultimate chapter is dropping today!

It's the midst of October, the darkest and most scary month of the year, and Chapter 2 of "Aegis" is here now! We continue through the story with a slow pace, but all things are set up now to get really serious for the foals:
With the launch of my Patreon account, I am starting a new series called "Fluttercheer's Weekly Writing"! This will be a series of reports to show you what I have been writing each week. The newest chapter of "Aegis" is live now! After Fast Bun and Curtain Call, it is now Starlet Radiance's turn to face her darkest nightmare! Go and read Chapter 5 here, brave squad of readers, and get your tissues ready, this one will be more heartwrenching than scary:
And I'm done. "Aegis" is finally finished. Chapter 8 ends the story. And it turned out horrible. But that doesn't matter much in the big picture anymore, because the rest of the story started sucking long ago anyway. You'll probably notice how my motivation was running out in the last few sentences.
Anyway, it's done now. It's cliched as hell and reads like watching paint dry, but it's done and I stuck to my philosophy of finishing every story I've started, no matter how horrible it is.
And another chapter of "Aegis" is finished! Next up on the list of personal nightmares is Corn Pops. He meets his mom again but, just like Curtain Call had to find out, she's not quite the same mom he remembers.

It's now one and a half months since my last story release and I still have a recent multi-chapter fic to continue and finish that is sitting there untouched for three months now, so I wanted to give you a bit of information about my next story and show that I am still alive.
It is time for an insight..... As I announced a few days ago, I will write a story for Nightmare Night again this year, and now, I will give you a small preview of it.
Good Morning, everypony! I say "Good Morning", because it has just become morning for me here, after spending an entire night with figuring out what kind of pony author I actually am. Now all of that is done and I present to you the results, as the next steps towards my planned Patreon account.
