My first Jinglemas story is released.

I just released my first Jinglemas story. I was writing it on Hearth's Warming Day (December 26th) and on December 27th, uploaded it yesterday and gave it another read today to see if everything is right with it. I was able to write it fast and I managed to surpass my usual word count per hour with it. I was surprised about that, after I didn't write much for more than a year.

I am starting to get back into writing.

I will start to gradually be getting back into writing again today. It probably would have been a bit longer until I do that, but, I have decided to write a "Jinglemas" story this year.

    A positive development has happened.

I was in the cinema yesterday and watched "Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim". When I was back in my room late at night and checked my Following section, I saw that my friend has logged into her FIMFiction.net account again, for the first time in over a year. I can't tell exactly what this means and I don't want to make any assumptions about it or be too fast with conclusions..... But it

I think I have finally figured something out I was struggling with since 2022.....

Ever since Elon Musk bought Twitter in 2022, I have struggled with something. I didn't want that Twitter dies, when so many demanded that it gets shut down and left it because they were against Elon Musk's free speech plans. I was thinking of all the pony content on there, of the history of the fandom and the history of MLP: FiM that would get lost then. I was also worried about what Elon Musk

Fluttercheer's Weekly Writing #1 · 4:57pm Jul 16th, 2019

With the launch of my Patreon account, I am starting a new series called "Fluttercheer's Weekly Writing"! This will be a series of reports to show you what I have been writing each week. You can read a longer and in-depth version of this report on Patreon for pledging 5$ per month in the "The Early Foal Sneaks A Peek" tier.
These reports will happen 4 - 5 times each month and here on FIMFiction.net, you will see a basic listing of every story/chapter I have actively worked on the past week, but if you support me with 5$ on Patreon, you will get direct insights into my writing process, see what I think about the quality of the story/chapter and how it lets me progress as author, my own thoughts and feelings about the plot and the characters and what inspired me to write particular scenes in a story.
And in addition to this, you can find early (or very early) sneak peeks for upcoming stories and chapters there! This could be anything, from the next chapter of "Dreamwalker Dash" to early drafts of "My Little Pony: Guardians of Crystal Growth", my story to continue MLP: FiM in written form that will start "airing" in April 2020, but gets worked on months in advance!
These sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes insights for everything I'm actively working on are entirely exclusive to Patreon supporters, if you are curious about future stories by me, pledge 5$ to join the party and see what I'm doing behind the curtain and to get sneak peeks no one else gets!

Alright, now that the introduction is out of the way, let's get to my first writing report and the first installment of "Fluttercheer's Weekly Writing"! This first report will be a little shorter than future ones, as my Patreon account has launched only a few days ago, but there's still a little bit to cover regardless of that!

So, what have I been dabbling with since Saturday? My highest priority right now is "Dreamwalker Dash". As announced a little more than a month ago, I came up with a new concept for it that is actually exciting and thrilling, as opposed to the first, bland concept I had for it, and that contains innovative ideas.
To prepare all of that, I am revising the first four chapters. It's something I'm having more time for again, now that my Patreon preparations are finished, so I will make a steady progress with it now.
Currently, the revision is to 7% finished and you can find these revised 7% as an early foal sneak peek on Patreon, alongside a more detailed look at the circumstances that make this revision necessary.

The other thing I have been writing is the newest, and second-to-last, chapter of "Aegis". Sunday has seen the writing of this chapter in one go. It's a chapter I have to admit I'm not very happy with, like I'm not happy with the entire story anymore, for various reasons.
You can also read a little about these reasons on Patreon, as much as I can give away right now without spoilering the final chapter, and about my source of inspiration for "Aegis".

And that wraps up the first report of "Fluttercheer's Weekly Writing"! Report #2 will come next Monday. And remember, if this report was too short and boring for you, there is a longer version of it on Patreon! All 4 - 5 detailed weekly reports are available to you for only 5$ per month!
I'll see you next monday for Report #2!
