"Dreamwalker Dash" Update: A New Concept and a More Advanced Plot · 2:07am Jun 4th, 2019
My stories need ideas that are more out of the box. Something unexpected, yet still fitting to the story I write. Something readers won't reckon with when they look at the story from the outside or read the first few chapters. Something like this hasn't been in my stories so far. Even my biggest hit "Princess Flurry Heart, Destroyer of Worlds!" has, while offering a few plot twists, no plot elements in it that you wouldn't expect in this type of story. This needs to change. With "Dreamwalker Dash", I am now doing a first step to more innovative writing.
Last week, I sat down and brainstormed ideas for the story. And I have a much more fleshed-out plot now. Doing so was very good, it made me realize that I have rushed the story without awareness so far. In hindsight, I am now shocked about how barebones my concept for it was. As everyone who followed my blog entries lately knows, the last two years weren't kind to my writing and my writing skill. My first rushed approach to "Dreamwalker Dash" is one result of that. But now, I can rest assured that I have saved the story from being a mundane and boring mess.
Of course, I won't actually rest now. The chapters I have so far need a do-over before I continue the story and then I need to write Chapter 5 and kick off the releases again.
There isn't much I can tell you without spoilering my ideas. But I have especially fleshed out the character relationships now.
Lemon Crumble will become the third mane character of the story, alongside Luna and Rainbow Dash. In my first concept, she was more of a secondary mane character. But now she will join the primary cast and play a very active and important role in the events that are going to transpire. She will be a steady and established member of the team and contribute to their efforts in significant ways.
What these efforts are? You will find this out when you read the story as it progresses further. A few things still need ironing out, but I came up with big ideas that I think will be worth the wait.
I will let you know once I am done with reworking Chapter 1 and will keep you up-to-date for each chapter.

No, thank YOU for reading and responding! Thrilling action will be aplenty once the plot progresses. There will be a couple chapters of character and plot build-up before things start to get tense, but I think I will be able to steadily increase the suspense chapter by chapter.
Sounds Good to me
