The Protagonist is going on a small hiatus while I wrap up some other projects n' stuff. Don't worry, I'll get back to it - I do like Black Betty, I just don't want to be distracted from the other stuff.

Well, looks like I'm going to take back what I said. As of right now, I'm canceling the Protagonist. Why? Well, the reason I'm doing it NOW is because I've gotten stupid busy and I want the looming blade of the Protagonist off my plate. It's been sitting there for a while, glaring at me, sneering.
Bland cliche "Blank Slate" characters are like balls of dough.
"He's no hero. Guts is the dark knight, who uses his rage, his resentment, his despair, turns it into a weapon and uses that to protect you.
He does what he can and frequently bites back when people note that most people he meets end up dead, not because he doesn't care about them, but because he started to care too much.
Okay... This has been bugging me for a while now. Ever since the quarantine and stuff started, I have been watching a lot of movie and series. Usually, I watch some action movies, where a revenge or wiping out a criminal organization is pretty much the whole plot and I have usually liked them... Until the end.
All right. So, yesterday's incarnation of this post, to what is now great irony, started with a worried critique of Wordpress' freshly rolled out posting interface. To be specific, it critiqued the poor interface design, but also noted with a faint hint of worry that something so new was bound to have some surprises of a possibly unpleasant variety.
There's a new story called The Protagonist.
The only problem?
I seem to have forgotten the Protagonist. Heheh...

I’ve recently reworked our main character as I was still unhappy with how the other one went, it looked too....cute? Yeah, let’s go with that.
Anyways, I’ve been thinking long and hard about how the other chapters are going to go. But here’s a fair warning, descriptive and possibly traumatic events shall occur for more character development.
Now I wanted the character to look slightly older because the other one reminded me of a 12-year-old. I don’t know why either.
