I’ve spent much of the week so far negotiating for the cover art and proofing early chapters. Publication will start March 19th. I’ve been writing The Runaway Bodyguard for over a year. It’s funny how I don’t remember much about the early chapters, though I clearly wrote them. There’s the old adage in writing, throw the chapters in the drawer. When you next find them, you see the typos and the flaws. Yes. Quite true.

A very good friend of mine, Seventh Heaven, wrote a very interesting conceptual piece on Starlight Glimmer and the wars she still wages with her mind. Her character has gotten fantastic development, but some things stay with you.

I like how both Starlight and Sunset have their own days, and that they are (normally, unless some schedule change, like this year,) set on the equinoxes, wherein which there is a perfect balance between light and dark, day and night. Or, at least, that's what the equinoxes are supposed to be. But, due to tilted earth, it's not exact. But, that's beside the point.
hey everyone I have a question for you all. Do you think season 6 is going from the exploration season they said it was going to be, to the starlight glimmer season, seeing how all but 3 episodes so far have been starlight based with the next one being a starlight episode to. So what do you think?

I'm writing a small one-shot, and I have a scene that requires Starlight's characterization. Being honest, i'm still not sure on how to write it. Therefore, I need to consult on someone who can give me a facsimile on what she's supposed to act and think like, as well as feedback on the eventual drafts of said scene.

Been contemplating a Starlight Glimmer/Twilight Sparkle short (not a shipping fic), which would yet again not be one of the story ideas I've posted about awhile back. It would have a semi-tragic ending. Working title 'Duality'
