Summer Writing Plans, Part 2 · 7:31pm Jun 1st, 2020
Here's part one. Please read it here. After the break, you'll find the status of all my stories below. Let's get to that!
This story has only one chapter left. I am a couple hundred words into it. Don't expect anything super long (5k and above). This is a story that you can expect to be completed over the course of the summer. I'll be keeping it open as a side project to keep me productively distracted when writer's block on main projects rears its ugly head. If it isn't completed by the end of August, it just means that I'll finish it in the fall semester that will be coming up.
Expect this to have four parts for The Great Divorce story, as per the latest author's note. I am a couple hundred words into the next segment. Since this is an anthology, I'd encourage all of you to keep tabs on it. I have one story that needs typed and edited, but is complete. There are notes for upcoming stories, and I'm in progress of writing another one in one of my notebooks.
Speaking of notebooks: I found some of my notebooks for pony stuff. In them were some outlines for project ideas that I still like (but won't discuss here) and some old scrapped one shots and general fodder for Missing Pages chapters. Most were about Onyx, though there was one about Luna too. They would need some editing and to be typed up before being posted. I did find one complete one shot that is called Deep Blue and it needs typed up and editing. It is something that I'll probably drop in summer or fall.
This story isn't mine. If you're looking for quick, fun ways to practice writing and keep busy, it accepts comment fic submissions and continuations. i have had a couple of people write stories based on my own works here. If you want to write, submit, or read comment/continuation stories from my works or from those of other people, check here. They accept submissions of any kind, no matter how old the comment is. Go on an internet scavenger hunt or something, if you've got time to kill.
This story is on hiatus. I have multiple future chapters written completely. Others are in progress. The rest is outlined. I will focus on it again in the fall. Collections like this are a lot of fun to write in university, and shorter stories are more manageable for me then.

Forget that this is marked complete. I have a third part coming (or, second if you prefer the M-rated version) and some revisions and additions that will happen. I don't have any strict deadline for this content, but please consider it something I'll also work on in the summer and during the fall semester. I'm already part of the way through, with multiple scenes written. Though, I forget the word count.
Stay Golden and its SFW version: This is another major project I've teased for awhile now. I don't have all the chapters of the first act (like I promised) ready to release. There is still some editing that I want to do on what I have, which is currently over 20k for the M-rated version. I still have another chapter in progress not accounted for in that I'm 6k into. The story is completely outlined, with many notes and some future chapters written and lying around my Google Drive incomplete. There are three acts total. Due to the subject matter of it primarily being a downer and very grisly, I think I'm going to hold off releasing it (even if I had it ready). Expect it as a fun Spooktober project instead!
Bastard Juice SFW Version: I'll have a SFW, newly edited version of both stories ready soon-ish, with that SFW version dropping this summer.
Possible Contest Story/Pride Month Story: I've always wanted to do a pride month story! Famous is also hosting an awesome shipping contest. I have a longshot Lunbra idea, but since it's a personal-ish story and would take a lot of time (plus I'm shit at deadlines) I'm not sure if I can get myself psyched up to write it (and balance the main project below)! However, you should check it out here, 'cause the prompt is really good!
Enemy of Mine is the story that is king, and has needed to be wrapped up since 2017. Or, uh, whenever it is reasonable to complete stories. I have the remaining chapters outlined/their respective notes. The epilogue is fully written and in need of editing. All the interludes are ready to go. There are only three chapters left. For real this time. I just need massive amounts of free time and some ol' writer's streak of luck to really get this one flowing. It's do-able and hell yeah I wanna do it! There's sequels to be had! There is an epic main story to progress!
So wait. Summer Writing Pans? I certainly hope you are paying them for their hard work!

So many things I still need to read... I can't even say that now that it's Summer, I have more time to read, because I wasn't doing anything during any other season either.
