Eh, I tend to ignore mines for the most part, due to the fact that to the player they are kind of useless. And ya, Super mutants and packs of ghouls, though I do use pulse grenades for large groups of Synths (Later in-game they tend to swarm you) and Plasma grenades if I somehow come up against power armor. None of the Fallout games have large amounts of enemies in one area, they come in stages, so mines are fairly moot in the game, though, used against the player, they are the bane of many newbie players.

Finally caught up on the last two installments of this story.

I am glad that Fast and Vira are getting to know one another, and that the Shroud is finally getting his shit together. It seems that finding out they had more in common wasn't a bad idea after all.

Vira still needs to get back to Far Harbor at some point, since there is still much to do on the island, and more adventures to come and secrets to uncover.

Fast wants to be with his Princess. The Shroud wants to serve a Princess. And both Vira and jade seem to fit the bill. I wonder how THAT is going to work itself out. Perhaps with Jade acknowledging Vira as Princess of Fog Harbor? With Fast as Mate to them both? A way to link the two kingdoms together peacefully.

Fast still 'owes' three more Alicorns a foal or two each. And then there is the Thestral... cute but deadly little thing that she is.

Val might end up as head of the Sanctuary Guard, with Witchy as head of Jade's Personal Guard?

With all the friends Fast is making, despite the 'rep' he has for being possessed by an 'insane killer spirit', I am seeing an ending here at some point in the future... where all rise up in league with Fast, Jade, Vira, and others, to deal with the Institute in a very final way, and open the Commonwealth to the Outside. Other than the raiders and Brotherhood, the rest could be placated by long talks and negotiations with Jade, Vira, and other prominent members of the Commonwealth. With the Brotherhood leashed, and the Institute dealt with, the raiders would become a vanishing problem over time, along with groups like the Gunners and other Merc outfits.

Oh, yeah, I forgot another looming problem... Synthlestia. THAT's gonna be an 'epic' battle too. Unless Fast and company can in some way reveal that she's NOT Celestia reborn.

In any case crazyperson, KEEP on writing! I so seriously want to find out how all this resolves over time.

When you're creating a story, there is a small list of rules and guidelines. Let me just quote those rules.

I'm... I don't really know what to say. I feel like I'm playing Fallout 4 again, which is boring since I already know the entire story(DLC's not included. I have them, just too lazy to do)

Right now, I don't give a shit about the rule, but what I want to know, is if I'm basically reading Fallout 4. Because if that's the case, I'm probably going to find something else to read because no point in reading what I already played.

When I play fallout 4 after reading this fic, the game feels empty like I'm in a true wasteland, with none of the characters or deeper plot story lines. If anything I feel like I'm on the abandoned set where all the things in this story happened, but all the content has been removed.
I feel crazyperson has done an excellent job of fleshing out a new story filled with mystery while including recognisable quests from the game, adding new characters and building on what the original FO:E set up.
Personally I think this is my favourite fallout story, and its got far more content than Fo4 story wise.

I see your point, although I was thinking of 'thrown' hand grenades and not being shot automatically from a weapon. 25mm is not too large, although you should look at the Neo-Pup grenade rifle. A larger magazine should be entirely possible for that.
