Welp on to the next chapter
Ahh... So Captain Crunch has entered the scene. I'm sorry, since I first played Fo4 I only associated Kellogg with the cereal company.
oh man poor Fast waking up to a nightmare of your own home is a tomb
Well that was a bad time. Poor dude, it's going to get worse before it gets better, if I'm any judge.
Green goo eh? That doesn't sound like the usual bunch of raiders, changelings perhaps?
Yep, this story’s pretty good.
Also: I suspected the cereal, I see that it was the cereal, +1 for continuity.
(People who played Fallout 4 know what I’m talking about.)
And so we have it, the little pony from before the war leaves the Stable. I wonder how he will handle the wasteland
I love it.

Check out FOE Speak. Tree Hugger is mildly referenced there. Hehe
Perfectly captured the lonely and hopeless feeling of Stable 111. Other than that, I’m curious to see how the Institute plays into this, why they stole Fast’s family— I know why they missed Fast, as they probably only assumed 100, Better clearly didn’t set him free, like Shaun did in the game.
My best theory is that they somehow knew about Fast’s Shrouded Stallion connection. But then again, this hasn’t been covered in the story yet, and I’m excited for when it is revealed.
Well thats... slightly happier than having everyone get murdered I guess. Silver linings I suppose.
Oh that's easy, just find a dog to grab it for you
I really really enjoy this fic so far. It's sad but there is also hope. It touches my heart
Tree, how the hell did you not get hella McCarthy’d by that military stallion for all the zebra paraphernalia you have in your office? Get a job, you dirty hippy-oh wait. Hmm. I guess you do have one.
I’m definitely curious whether ponies like Sunset’ll be coming back or not. Just by the tone of Fallout 4 and also the tone of the cover image, I can’t imagine Fast is about to go down a whirlwind suffer fest like Blackjack underwent, so I’m still holding out hope that he’ll come back in contact with at least some of his vault, somewhere, somehow. After all, they took a lot more than just the baby boy this time, and instead of the whole vault being dead on screen, it was just… well, a hundred ponies is still a lot.
Anyways, I gotta assume he’ll come back in contact with at least some of them- whether it’s as ghouls, old wrinkly ponies, or still on ice somewhere in an institute facility.
Fics sure like to point out how goddamn magical pipbucks are. I’ve always found it funny that its elements of gameplay convenience that you’re meant to take as the implication of the player character putting information into their pip boy got taken literally by the fic. At least fallout Equestria doesn’t do that obnoxious stuff a lot of fallout fanfics do where it literally digitizes things to explain the character not physically carrying an inventory.
At least we won’t have to endure yet another description of somepony being wowed and intimidated by the existence of the sky.
This chapter... One of the more painful chapters I've read, so much death and sadness.
