While coming home from the Canterlot rodeo with Applejack, Rainbow Dash spots a strangely familiar pony. The weird coincidence seems to mean something more to Applejack, leading to a conversation about family that may bring two friends even closer.

The day of Fluttershy and Big Macintosh's wedding has finally arrived, and Applejack couldn't be happier for her big brother and friend. Or at least, she would be happy, if a certain sky-blue pegasus didn't keep distracting her. One drinking contest and several Pinkie Pie-related incidents later, Applejack begins to realize that the friendship she has long treasured with Rainbow Dash may in fact be something more. Could she really have feelings for her best friend, or is it just the cider talking? On the way to that answer Applejack discovers truths about pride, vulnerability, and love. After the invention of radio, DJ-P0n3 (aka Vinyl Scratch) holds the first Equestrian talk show with her co-host Octavia. Octavia quickly finds out her superior is very eccentric, leading their broadcast to be constantly derailed, yet somehow remain popular. This story is the first of two bonus chapters for two different stories. My ‘Of Horseshoes, Apples and Feathers’ and my friend The Irish Brony X’s ‘Honesty and Loyalty’ who was inspired by mine. These are not vital to the plot but makes some things more understandable.

Digging Up The Past
Two long-time friends meet after a long time and suddenly end up fighting Nightmare Moon. We all know that, but what happened that night?

Applejack and Rainbow Dash have been avoiding the truth for quite some time now. Neither of them are willing to admit to themselves or the other how they really feel, but it might just be time to face reality. When they both decide to face the truth, it comes down to who is willing to put their pride and fear behind them to find out how the other feels. Even then, would they be able to overcome the formidable obstacles to live in true happiness together?

There was only one explanation. For all of it. All of the strange, erratic behavior. Her irrational fear of the sun. Her nocturnal habits of locking herself in in the dark and closing all the blinds. Wearing her sunglasses everywhere, even inside! It was time to invest in some silver, garlic, and a wooden stake.

As her ears slowly adjust to the sounds around her, the humming of several monitors surround her body. It is impossible to hear anything, her friends, the doctor's voice, through her blurry eyes, she notices an absence of a certain orange earth-pony. With her entire life ripped from her back, Rainbow Dash must learn how to handle her now earth-pony life, all while Applejack is simply trying to be able to look her dear friend in the eyes without the overpowering guilt bringing her to her knees.

With gloom on the rise and guilt consuming, is there any way these friends can repair themselves without hurting one another?
