It is Nightmare Night again and the crusaders are out having fun. Afterward the three girls return back to their clubhouse to tell scary stories to each other, but this time their older sister or role model is there to listen in onto their horrifying tales.

It's night time at the crusaders clubhouse, it's also the perfect time for them to tell each other some scary stories. Meanwhile outside Big Mac decides to listen in on her little sister and her two friends tell their stories. So stick around readers and prepare to read these three fillies horrifying tales.

Note: The plot is similar to the Simpson's first Treehouse of Horror, so I'm not really sure if that counts as a crossover but I 'll added it anyways.

Red June has just moved to Ponyville. Despite what everyone thinks, it's all an illusion. Her parents aren't fancy rich ponies from Manehattan, she's not a model, and her current living quarters include a small pile of grass in an equally small alley. However, when she's discovered by a colt named Spectrum, she realizes she's got a lot more power than the average Earth Pony, and she's not alone in this power.

She finds herself suddenly introduced to a family of unrelated ponies, each with incredible power over a natural element. Under the guiding hoof of her mentor, Florina, will she fulfill her potential, or be destroyed by it?

On the eve of Hearth's Warming, families gather around the comfort of warm fires and tell the stories of the holiday. But not everypony can have that luxury.

One pony walks the cold land, abandoned to the chill of the winter weather. But, while wandering the streets of Ponyville, the stallion notices a particular pink pony smiling at him from the window of a local bakery. Little did he know that her simple gesture would change his life forever.

And, as he looks back on his life, he will know that a miracle did happen on that one Hearth's Warming Eve.

Alula, a pegasus prodigy, moves to Ponyville after her wings are mangled in an accident. Foisted off on an earth pony aunt and uncle, Alula struggles to cope with losing her chance at greatness. Constantly haunted by the ghost of what she could have been; Alula tries to find friends, make connections with her family, and even has a chance to work with her idol, Rainbow Dash. As Alula walks a fine line between genius and insanity, will her connections be enough to calm her rage, or are her nightmares just a premonition of horrors to come?

Horror Story Submission for the 2012 EQD Nightmare Night Fanfic Contest.

The friendship between Clover the Clever, Smart Cookie, and Private Pansy led to the founding of Equestria. But what can they do in the face of a new and chaotic menace who calls himself Discord?

Two events from December 2011 led directly to this story: the revelation in "Hearth's Warming Eve" that the princesses were nowhere in sight when Equestria was founded, and the announcement of the existence of Cadance, the third Princess. Unfortunately, at the time, I was in the middle of several non-Pony related projects, but I wanted to get the idea written up before the Cadance episode aired and made canon-fodder out of the whole thing. So I carved ten days out of my schedule in the middle of January 2012 and wrote it up in two parts. It made Equestria Daily, but I've always felt it needed one more run through the word processor.

So I'm suspending my usual "write it, submit it, move on to the next" rule and giving the story another spin. I'm also, after a year and a half, giving it a sequel: "Calling You."
