Starlight Glimmer has been feeling unloved lately, even by her closest friends. As she finds herself wondering through Ponyville on one cold Winter night, she receives advice from a very unlikely source.

After serving for the Princesses in Saddle Arabia for almost three years, Lightning Spark returns home to Ponyville. As he travels to meet a very special somepony, he starts to remember events that occurred when he was away from home.

Scootaloo seems to be really down lately, Rainbow Dash knows it. She saw the little filly force a smile every time she sees her friends. The filly didn't even feel hyperactive like she always was during her training sessions. Of course, as an awesome coach, Rainbow Dash comforts her adoptive sister.

One day, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon are picking on the Cutie Mark Crusaders as per usual. Silver Spoon picks this point to have a fight with Diamond Tiara and the two go their seperate ways. After some time to think, Silver Spoon decides it's time to apologise, and just hopes that she can be forgiven...

Dash has a much needed talk with Scootaloo about her reckless behavior and several other things (contains semi-consensual, disciplinary spanking)

The Cutie Mark Crusaders' plans for an afternoon of crusading are interrupted by a school assignment to write a report on nature. They've heard other ponies talk about "the birds and the bees" and decide to ask their sisters and the rest of the Mane Six for their help on the subject.

Needless to say, the answers they get should make for a very interesting report!

It’s that time of year again. Hearth’s Warming Day is nearing, and Twilight has a special surprise for her family. Ever since Twilight and Rainbow Dash got married and took Scootaloo under their wing, the young filly would always hide away in her room during the holidays, every year, after seeing a present labeled “To Scootaloo, from Mother and Father”, leaving her confused, saddened, and angry.

But this Hearth’s Warming celebration is different. Not only is Twilight surprised by what she finds, but she also realizes that it is, in fact, the best Hearth’s Warming Day ever.

Finally with a cutie mark and out of school, Scootaloo runs her own shop where she can fix anything as a master mechanic. She lives a simple life, simple but fulfilling. Yet, something is missing... but the mare doesn't want to admit that what's missing is really important.

But someone else can help open her heart.
