On a trip to visit Twilight's parents in Canterlot, Twilight and Rarity find themselves in an unusual situation. Can they straighten everything out before they have to return to Ponyville?

Twilight is in love with Rarity and goes out to dinner with her "as friends." Stuff happens. DRAMA mostly.

This is my first pony fic, be gentle. Written in February 2011, within a few weeks of becoming a brony.

Twilight Sparkle moves from Ponyville to Canterlot, and promises herself she will only be friends with her childhood friend, Fluttershy. Determined to not let romance or friendship get in her way of being the youngest pony to earn the Peace Prize, Twilight nonetheless is pulled into many friendships, and meets the mare of her dreams, Rarity. But will Twilight allow herself to be a normal young mare, or will she only follow her dream of becoming a scholar?

Rarity discovers an old tradition involving the exchange of felt dolls as a sign of affection. This sparks a brilliant plan to play matchmaker with her friends, and between herself and Twilight.

[Complete!] When Rarity finds out how little Twilight gets out of the Library, things get out of hand as she decides to take it upon herself to teach Twilight the ropes of dating. As Rarity drags her around, Twilight begins to have a good idea of who she wants to ask out.

Rarity has fallen hard for the lavender mare from Canterlot, but there is just one problem, that certain mare from Canterlot is completely oblivious to it all. Thus, Rarity does everything in her power to escape the dreaded friend zone, from skywriting to asking Twilight's parents for help. But will it be enough? Probably not. After all, Twilight is rather naive, but a mare's gotta try.

For Rarity, the words left unsaid are often most meaningful. A life of standards and a sense of class has led her to assume that breaking these standards are wrong, and that reining in one's true emotions is a path to success.

However, something has been keeping her up at night and threatening to break the mold she has lived by throughout her life. Which will crack first, her presumed lifestyle or herself?

Caught in the throes of an epic pony prank war, Twilight decides to use a new spell of hers to get even with a certain white mare. But one stop off to prank Rarity turns into a call for help, and a budding romance for the two unicorns, with a few feline perks. But Twilight should really have stopped with that spell long ago, because now she and Rarity face an enemy they never saw coming.

It was supposed to be a normal night. Attempt number two at a slumber party for Twilight Sparkle. While her friend Applejack couldn't join in the fun, she was still delighted to have her friend Rarity with her. But how will the night end when she lets her biggest secret out?

It's a night at the bar for the Elements of Harmony. Rarity tries to find a drink suitably classy for herself and ends up presenting Twilight with an interesting proposition.

This is presented in a revised form, as there some rather obvious problems with the original writing. I suppose that's what writing a story in 30 minutes will do to you.
