With the princess raising their children together, The mane six starting families and settling down and everything in Equestria calm for once, Life couldn't be any better,But Queen Chrysalis and her changelings have shown up in the throne room and they are asking for aid?
Is it a trap? What is this about a great archive?
Will the changelings get the help they claim to need?

After finally working up the courage to ask the mare of his dreams out on a date, Spike arrives only to find her preparing for a date with somepony else. Heartbroken, the dragon is left to wonder where he really fits in the world, and consider the fact that he may never win Rarity's heart. Little does he know that life has a surprise for him, in the form of Rarity's younger sister Sweetie Belle.

The first hint I was given that everything was not going to plan, was a purple alicorn staring at me. The second was a small purple and green dragon baby doing the same, puffing smoke.

The most annoying, was that I was only able to move my head, as the rest of me was locked in place by either spell or magical inhibitors.

This is going to go great!

Things didn't go, as planned, in the Crystal Empire. Sombra was defeated, but he used a clone to try and take the Crystal Heart. Now, he has Twilight Sparkle captive, and trying to force her to become his student. Celestia, stricken with grief, sends every pony she has to search for her valued student, who was like her daughter... Not knowing, another has come to help. A being that has been around far longer than any other. One that was old when Celestia was but a foal, and has sensed the trouble within Equestria. Knowing he could not physically help, the being decided to assist Twilight in learning a power that many consider dangerous... But it is, truly, the only way to defeat Sombra.

The invasion of Canterlot has failed and the changelings have been cast out of the city. Captain Shining Armor and Princess Cadance were married just afterwards and all has been well for two long years.

But the changelings were not intending on giving up. The second invasion is on it's way. An event which will drastically alter the life of one changeling in particular. This is his story.

I was a simple drone; I did my work, had my meal, and returned to my own little carved-out den day in and day out. At least, until the invasion of the Golden City. Now I'm alone, cold, scared, and I'm pretty sure something is wrong...

I suppose being found is the least of my concerns...

A few years ago my kind attacked this land and its rulers, but they were stopped. But the Princesses did not stop there, they made sure that all of my kind were removed from this world for good, this did not surprise many. But it surprised me. But in the end it comes down...to one simple question: What are you prepared to sacrifice?

When Twilight Sparkle came to me, I sacrificed my story, my memory to become something better then another monster

But change costs. Every time, you pay a little more.

Everything is going so well for Twilight. Her loving mentor has big plans for her, her friends are the greatest, and even her enemies have been neutralized. Her life couldn't be any better.

Except it isn't really her life.

As she reaps the benefits of another Twilight's work, the real Twilight is trapped in an unfamiliar world to face the consequences of actions she would never dream of committing. Can she return home? Will the imposter destroy everything precious to her? Will anything ever be the same again?
