There aren't many good men in Crystal Prep Academy, most of them being as self-centered and prudish as most of the girls. Sour Sweet has been crushing on one of the few good ones, Braeburn, for a while, and she finally decides to go for it. She just has to get past Little Strongheart and he's all hers.

Spike was thrilled to be able to talk to Twilight, and she was thrilled to be able to talk to him. But when he meets a fellow canine who he just can't seem to relate to, he starts to wonder if he wasn't better off before being infused with Equestrian magic. Especially when that canine is a cute girl he would really like to get to know better.

Ever since you were young, you've always preferred the rainy days over the sunny ones. The key word is days at any other time, it's just annoying, especially in the evening. It gets too cold, too damp, and too obnoxious. To combat the cold, you grab your favorite blanket, a bowl of soup, and your favorite film, you were gonna ride out this night like you did every night.

That's until a bright orange blur catches your eye. It takes shelter under the bus stop across from your house. Everything in your being is telling you it's just another homeless person. But, this one wasn't like any hobo you've seen. Her clothes were somewhat clean and she didn't seem very unkempt. You can't help but investigate.

It's been several months since the last time Flash had seen Twilight after he successfully apologized to her for his behavior during The Battle of the Bands! They made a promise to meet again the next time she visits.

Now it was time for the Friendship Games and he was pumped to join in to compete against their longtime rivals, The Shadowbolts from Crystal Prep! By chance, he met with Twilight again at the hallway. But Twilight acted like she never met him before in her life. Something seems off about Twilight.

And Flash was determined to find out!

This story takes place during the events of The Friendship Games from Flash's point of view.

Twilight is a genius that graduated college early. However, after a certain event involving Sirens and Rainbows at a school called Canterlot High, she begins investigating the school. When she believes she can't do it alone, she calls up her old friend Moondancer to help her. What follows is a series of investigations that will leave the two questioning reality itself.

With the Friendship Games concluding, Twilight Sparkle is excited to start her schooling at Canterlot High, and so is everyone else. But, Canterlot High isn't all sunshine and rainbows. The girls at CHS will face challenges along the way. But, they'll face them together.

Ever since Twilight Sparkle transferred to CHS, her personal laboratory within Crystal Prep has stood empty. She finally decides to pass it on to Sugarcoat, but when she realizes that the isolation improves her test scores, Sugarcoat may be tempted to throw away her new friendships to take over Twilight's vacant position as the smartest student in Crystal Prep Academy.
