Have a seat while I check if these drapes really clash with my den. I’m going for a less... murder massacre theme, y’know? If only the price of a joke wasn’t mass murder and- oh it’s not?

(Please note this takes place during season 2, prior to the season finale)
The year was 2134, and the planet went to hell. America and Japan were locked in a large-scale war, neither side backing down. To make matters worse, the EU fell to rising terror threats, and the same said threats killed the last reigning monarch.
That's when IT, landed. Scientists overlooked it at first, believing it to be a comet colliding with earth, but in truth, it was much more sinister.
Whatever they were, they caused an eternal winter to blow across the globe, freezing the Atlantic Ocean in a matter of months.
What remained of the worlds governments came together to find even the smallest glimmer of hope.
Enter project; Horizon, a scientific breakthrough in both cryogenic and rocket technology that would allow us to send a select few away to a new world, one where they could remake the human race from the ground up. The only downside being we could only send 12, and that they needed to be within a specific age group in order to survive the process.
So, with no other options left, we sent them off-planet. God bless their souls.

main beta reader; 0_0 (the living legend).
beta reader; NightCoreMoon (you'll see her leave heavy constructive criticism in the comment section from time to time, because she's awesome like that).
editor (famfiction); MiraculousDragonMaster (Not a clue if they have fimfiction, let alone their name on it.)
Feel free to hit me up in the comments if you notice any mistakes, get confused or are just bored. Chances are I'll respond, because I'm boss like that.
Chapters come out whenever I can get them out, so while moaning is an option, it doesn't really help much.
Features death and violence for somewhat gory fight scenes and character deaths later on (don't worry, I'm not killing the mane 6... or the CMC, as someone seemed to ask).

Chapters (13)

In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.

~Benjamin Franklin

Of all the ways Filthy Rich expected to come face to face with Death itself, he'd never expected it to be over a small issue of tax fraud. After spending hours with the grim reaper rattling off tax code to him like some sort of unholy accountant, Filthy couldn't help but wish for the Death he'd envisioned.

Chapters (4)

Trixie has been taking lessons from Starlight Glimmer on how to hone her magic into something more focused and malleable. Chapters (1)

What is real and what is a dream? Twilight Sparkle has lost her memory concerning research she knows she spent months on. In its place is a dream, or is it perhaps something else entirely.

What makes something a dream, and what makes it real?
The finite space in time that feels infinite, is it perhaps more than mere fantasy. Is the secret hidden in the smell of seawater and salt?
Or is that merely the thing that binds it all together.

This is a modified version of a story that is not pony related I’m releasing in book form. The version published here is very different, yet in the same vein, as the story it is derived from.

Chapters (2)

It's time once again for Nightmare Night and the citizens of Ponyville are ready for another night of candy, costumes, ghost stories, and more. After Twilight Sparkle taught her the true meaning of Nightmare Night one year prior, Princess Luna takes the day off from her royal duties and joins in the festivities. But when Ponyville suddenly comes under attack by a mysterious force, Luna is discovered missing in the aftermath. What's more, this force is being commanded by a malicious creature wielding a terrible power that the ponies have actually heard of, but know nothing about.

Once again, Twilight and her friends must take up the Elements of Harmony in defense of everything they hold dear, but if Equestria is to have any real hope of surviving against this force, the ponies must first unravel the mysteries of the power that threatens them.
