Dawn Waves is a pegasus who has had much stolen from her. She deals with grief in the only way she can, by going to the cliff overlooking the woods and thinking. When she attempts the unthinkable, a chance encounter could help her to move on, and even change her life for the better. But, of course, it's not always that simple.

Thorax, however, finds there was one personal change he's somehow overlooked.

Rated Teen for implied subject material...but I was able to avoid discussing it directly so much so that it's probably overkill on my part.

So when she holds an event for pets in need of adoption, and the gossip starts again, can Fluttershy stand up for him?

Hearts and Hooves Day was a whirlwind, especially for Cheerilee and Big Macintosh. They remained friends in wake of the fiasco that almost ended in hasty marriage, and Cheerilee never gave their friendship any further thought. They were just friends, nothing more.

However, when she learns of Big Mac and Marble Pie's fling over the Hearth's Warming holiday, Cheerilee begins to dwell upon her friendship with Big Mac. Could there have been something more to their relationship that she hadn't realized before?

After all, hindsight is 20/20.

The Pies are actually very sweet ponies once you get to know them, and Limestone Pie is no exception. Unfortunately, the Apples didn't have a chance to really get to know Limestone. So as the early Hearth's Warming party winds down, she decides to rectify that by showing Applejack her less-abrasive side.
