“Tour America by Rail!” the sign said, and so Sweetsong does. Everything she needs for a journey fits into her saddlebags, and there are plenty of trains to choose from if she’s resourceful enough.

There’s nothing quite like having her hooves over the side of an empty gondola watching the world speed by, or looking at the stars overhead through the end bracing on a grain car. Sometimes box cars have their doors left open, and she knows how to jam them so they won’t close en route.

When she gets where the train takes her, she can live off the land or sing and play her guitar for money. When it’s time to move on? There’s always another train.

This story is a sequel to In Her Wheelhouse

Ocean City leads up its tourist season with a big car show, a steady parade of classics on the streets and on the boardwalk in the morning. Like a tide coming in or a field ripe for planting, a town shaking off its winter slumber by inviting crowds in . . . Corduroy Road has a job to do, and after it's done she can unwind at an amusement park.

Unless, of course, it's still in the spring maintenance phase of operation.

With Splash Mountain, Speedworld, mini-golf, and a train which may or may not be fake (open to philosophical debate), Jolly Roger Amusement Park has something for everypony!

Inspired by Dogman15's comment on the previous story.

Hitch Trailblazer comes out of the Maretime Bay PD to do his afternoon rounds with his deputy only to find the populace in a panic. Quickly finding the source of the hysteria, it's time to put Canterlogic's defenses to good use...

A pro bono commission proudly undertaken for Phazon, for their generous donations to my Extra Life 2021 fundraiser for Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.

The Grand Hotel in Ocean City, MD has balconies overlooking the ocean. A place to relax and watch the ocean, the beach, the seabirds, a place to catch a nice refreshing ocean breeze. On the eleventh floor, there’s no reason to close it; there’s no possibility of anybody flying in and stealing your stuff, right?

Surely.

Tucked away in a corner just off the main roads of Canterlot, there exists a small shop.
It's a humble place of red brick, lacking entirely the put-upon golden and marble splendor of the richer, nobler portions of the city.
But that's just fine in the mind of it's proprietress. This place isn't one meant for the rich and the noble.
It's meant for the stressed single fathers, the cash-strapped students, the hungry tourists, the late-shift guards.
All are welcome there, and all are greeted as friends.

Princess Luna was always known as the solitary princess. She spent much time in her room, attached to none else other than her sister for their trade of the heavens. She was a very lonely princess, even if it appeared that she preferred the isolation.

Twilight Sparkle found an odd book in her shipment from Princess Celestia. Hoofbound and unlabeled, reading it opens a door she cannot, and will not, close with the youngest diarch.

She will not let one of her friends hurt alone, not on her watch.
